AMEN to that, It would be legitimately angry whenever I saw the green pants at the beginning of a game.

seriously though, I've only had a chance to watch 1.5 games up here in boston but from what I noticed and have read about: 1. Leon is explosive and an exciting player to watch
    2. TJ always seems to churn out a decent game 3. Brick is starting to play to his potential 3. The 2007 draft picks look like they will be key pieces on this team in the future (I know stuckey and bender are out, but let me tell you, from someone who has seen stuckey play in person i think he will thrive as #3 with coles/cotch) 4. Noooge is on his way to becoming an elite kicker 5. (not to sure on this one) Vilma is actually making some plays this year AND FINALLY 6. We will be in a position to draft an impact playmaker/trade down and fill some of our holes

How good is Jerrico Cotchery, if Kellen is in this guy can be an all-pro

Leon looks like he could be a great returner, Jerricho looks good, Thomas Jones has shown some serious potential to be a stud running back for us...Also, no matter how bad this season has seemed, it's not over yet. Remember the Titans last year? Let's hope this season some how turns out the same way:beer: :jets:

Kenyon Coleman is an above-average player.

Did Jones Really Have A Good Game ?

I keep on reading how great of a game that Thomas Jones had. When you look at his total numbers, it surely looks like he had a good game. But, when you break it down, it doesn't look as great:

    1st Quarter = 82 yards
    2nd Quarter = 14 yards
    3rd Quarter = 13 yards
    4th Quarter = 21 yards
    Total Game = 130 yards
    Carries = 24
Average = 5.42 yards per carry

Now, if you take away the 36 yard run which was basically all mistackles, then:
    1st Quarter = 46 yards
    Total Carries becomes 23
    Total Yards = 94
Average = 4.09 yards per carry which is OK

But break it down AFTER the 1st quarter. He had a pathetic 34 yards rushing in the 2ne half and in the last 3 quarters, he ran for 48 yards.

So, overally, it looks like he had a BIG game but when you look at the numbers, it's really not that impressive.

Come on man, you are really nit picking here. So if we take away the big first quarter he had a bad game? What is your point, to say Jones actually sucks? Perhaps you could do better. Jeez. It's like the old Buddy Ryan saying about Cris Carter "all he does is catch TD's".

That Herm isn't our coach and we don't have to listen to his speeches everyweek.

Plenty of stuff to comment on here.
Dbrick's emergence as a solid pass blocker will pay dividends down the line. Cotchery is well on his way to being a probowl WR. Brad Smith is beginning to come into his own as a WR. Neon Leon is electric. Must of all our rookies look like they are the real deal, and we have cap room needed to address our gaping holes on both sides of the ball :) We won't bounce back this year....but all in all with the right moves we can turn this ship around in time to field a team that I'm proud to be a fan of.

Well when you go to a sports bar in another state to watch a Jets game, its easy to get a beer at the bar because fans of the other team are glued to their sets watching their teams score at will. Also their is little fear of missing something good while you are up. Plus I am thinking maybe Jet souvenirs will be cheaper . Havent gotten into any fights with opposing fans this year because they feel sorry for you.........This sucks!
