This guy is the worst! I am starting to think Hackett was more creative with his play calling. What do you all think?

What can you do when your QB is restricted to 15 yards between the hash marks?

How about a different play at the goalline?

I have to disagee. The few times they threw it down the field today, they were successful more than not. If he is afraid to open it up because of Chad, then even though I have been a Chad supporter, they both need to go. I just hink he is a lot more like his father than anyone wants to admit. He is over conservative and needs to go!

PS The same goes for Sutton!!!

Mangini is the problem well before Schotty.

You could change QBs and maybe open up the offense.....

that isn't Schott's decision, though, so it isn't his fault if it doesn't happen.

Playcalling is part of it, but what can Schottenheimer Jr. do when his QB, popgun Chad, is so limited in what he can do??

They obviously don't feel Clemens is ready yet.

If he's not ready yet he never will be.

The NFL is not a league where you need to sit and watch to become ready to play. NO professional sports leagues are leagues where you need to sit and watch to play.

People who CAN play can play as soon as they learn the plays.

So either Clemens is stupid (hint: NOT) or he just can't play in the NFL or Mangini is being an idiot. It's one of those 3 things.

I thought he did a good job of calling plays when Clemens was in there, but I think too many QB sneaks, lack of play-action, and there's not enough changing up the run and pass IMO.

Shotty just fumbled his shot at a HC position next season.

How far a QB can throw has nothing to do with calling a 3rd a short QB sneak for the millionth time.

No way. Chad had 4 downs in which the eagles brought the house on a blitz and he had atleast 2 and a half seconds to throw the ball. He swallowed the ball 3 times and threw a 2 yard floater to brad smith that was 5 yards short of the first down.

If Chad can't get the ball to a receiver when all his wide outs have man to man coverage, what kind of plays can schotty call for him???? Unless the wideout is wide open, chad feels he shouldn't throw the ball. Unless the D is completely fooled, Chads ball has a chance to be picked every time he throws it.

That isn't much to work with.

Maybe, but our offense is so lackluster that a possible change could create some excitement/TDs. We are not winning with the current offensive plan, time to shake it up.

Well, you and I have pretty much always been in agreement on this Pennington-Clemens issue.

A second round pick in April 2006. He's only been in one system. It's not like Herman Edwards was the HC in 2006 and this is Mangini's first year. No, Clemens has had the same coaching staff since he was drafted.

He's got to be able to play by now.

It's amazing that Testaverde was only signed a couple days ago and is already starting for Carolina. Now, I realize he is a veteran and probably doesn't need to know much of the Carolina playbook to be effective, but c'mon.

If we ran off tackle or ran wide and didn't get the first how different would you feel?
