They look a lot better than I thought they would. It'll be a little weird cheering for the New York Rams, but I'll give it a try.
Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised.... These look MUCH better than what I've seen on sale at the stadium shops, and what I expected to see this Sunday.... We're still gonna get walloped, but at least we'll look sharp
I like 'em. Re: the Rams They have worn their blue jerseys in each game this season, but have worn three different pants- gold thrice, white once, and blue once.
Here's a question though, why Mangold and Washington? I mean, you see other teams do this kind of thing with the captains or the most well known guys modeling the gear..... I would have expected Vilma for sure, and one of our WRs, or Thomas Jones... Very odd.....
This reminds me of that Vikings game in 2002, we were 1-4, Chads first start and we broke out the green unitard look for the first time. Won the game.
At least they will wear them. In March 1998, Adrian Murrell was one of the players who modelled the new Jets uniforms. He was traded to the Cardinals only a few weeks later.
I think Mangold and Washington are the two most recognizable, least divisive stars on our team. Except possibly Vilma. TJ has yet to establish his presence as a Jet, Chad isn't exactly the welcomed face of the franchise, and Coles doesn't seem like a player who would embrace the request.
Why not break out the 90s throwbacks or the throwbacks with the Jet-plane helmet. Stupid to use non-traditional colors and throwback to a team that wasn't even the Jets at the time. Going to far back. Atleast the hideous eagles one's were still the eagles.
