My point was, though, that his team NEEDS someone to light a fire under them tonight, and that was too close a play (and too good of a play by Mientkiewicz) to walk politely out to the umpire. I like Joe a lot, but that was the perfect time for him to be screaming.
I don't know who it is, but the announcer needs to be fired. I've been watching the football game, I switch during a commercial to check the score, and I see Cabrera make the most routine catch possible and hear "SOME VITAMIN D FROM THE MELK MAN!!!!" I'm sure he's been saving that one up all night, but at least wait for a play where he has to take more than 2 steps before breaking out something so pathetically lame.
