Nope, you never know in football. Although it looks bad all you need is one thing to turn your way and you can get on a run
Well, I have a feeling a 9-7 team gets into the playoffs. The only division with a 2nd place team over .500 is the NFC South, and that won't last that long once they start playing each other. The AFC has a big pool of mediocre teams. If we stick with Chad, no way they make it. They need a spark like he provided in 2002.
The NFL is a slapstick mess of parity (read, ugliness) right now. I'm not counting any team that even has the potential for mediocrity out yet.
no. It doesn't look good, obviously, but there are 11 games left...ya never know. Thats why they play 16 games.
If you lose for first two games you have a 9% chance of making playoffs. We are now 1-4. I would say we have about a 2% chance of making the playoffs, so yeah, its done.
If we keep playing Chad, it's done. With Clemens maybe he can spark something, but it's definitely an uphill battle.
I never give up...so no. Do I have reservations? Let's just say that there's enough to fill up half the restaurants in NYC.
The Jets could finish the season at 8-8 if they are lucky, but yeah they are done. The best game they played was against the Ravens in the second half. Every other game they have been outplayed and it is obvious. Including the Miami win.
Is the season over? In the sense of going to the playoffs, yes, it is. I can't comletely beat Chad up because our D still is not that good and our O line can't get a running going. I think the guys are really, really fighting the 3-4 from a mental standpoint and an execution standpoint. It is not Sutton's fault.
No. If we start Clemens, 9-7 and a wild card birth is still within grasp.. obviously I'm not holding my breath on it. If we have more than 6 losses after Thanksgiving, then I'll admit we're done.
sometimes theres a team that you know sucks, and they will continue to suck. theres no getting around the fact that the jets are a subpar team. and chad is done too....last season in a jets uni.
