I can't believe that the Jets are sticking with Chad...If they expect to win seven games this season they better switch QB's

Second year coach with a veteran QB who lead the team to the playoffs the year before and is not obviously the problem. Just like Herm's dilemma with Vinny in 2002.

Most of us understand that Clemens needs to play right now but it may take Mangini another couple of losses before he tosses his lot in with Clemens. A coach usually only gets two starting QB's before he's fired. It's one of those unwritten things that shows up everywhere you look. Right down to Tom Landry who basically got Roger Staubach and Danny White and out.

If you don't have big wins to your credit your head coaching career can easily come down to a year and a half of Chad and a year and a half of Clemens and out. So it's understandable that Mangini is leery of making the switch.

    No comparison

Kellen has payed one game. No comparisons of any sort can be made yet. But I must say that I'm dying to see a pass over 25 yards this year...

People seem to think the season is at a loss and there is nothing to lose with putting a rookie in there and have him gets his licks. I can appreciate that but don't they think it's a bit ludicrous to expect the org. to give up on the season so quickly? Not going to happen, be realistic.

Maybe what everyone should really focus on is the horrible defense Mangini and company has put on the field for all to laugh and belittle upon.

The strategy of the offensive game plans does'nt help much either!

How would it be giving up on the season? Often times situations like that are conceived as so, but we performed just as well in Kellen's first start offensively as Chad has all season...

Yes, there will be bumps in the road, but those bumps are going to be taken at some point... Why not go with Kellen now, in an already lousy season and see if he can bring this team to life, instead of starting him next season from game 1?

What's the point of your first post? The thread title should be "If Kellen is Compared to "Chad win an arm", doesn't that make him the full package?"

It's one complete thought so people don't waste their time reading bullshit if they aren't interested. How do you not get this?
