    Every time we play the NFC East we stink or play well below expectations. I can't stand the Giants, I hate them more than ny team and now we will probably wind up losing to them again. Why caqn't we ever play the NFC east when we are good?

    Um, probably just a coincidence? Is it every 4 years that we play them? The giants is just because of our rivalry...

    As opposed to the other years in which we win Super Bowls and dominate the league?

    We might the Giants are a team that fails to capitlize on scoring opportunities at an amazing rate. What they are, which we aren't is a highly talented team on both sides of the LOS. The Giants could lose to us by failing to score on chance after chance which they often do, they also get exploted in the secondary an amazing amount of times for big plays. They are also capable of beating the crap out of us on both sides of the line and absolutely killing us. Talent wise we aren't in the same class as the Giants.

    We aren't in the same class talent wise? :rofl: :rofl: Are you kidding me? The ONLY positions they are cleary better than us are on the DL and receiving TE. Chad is better than Eli, Jones/Leon over the Giants trio of RBs, Coles and Cotch over Burress and Toomer, our LBs and Dbs over anything the Giants have, we have better STs.

    We have alot of takent, we may not have SB talent but we have alot of talent. 2 weeks ago the giants wre being bashed all over the place for lack of talent but 2 wins against medicore teams and all of a sudden they are incredibly talented?

    Junc if you think we are far more talented but we either stink or play below expectations and will probably lose to them again, why are you laughing and calling people morons and saying people don't understand since you seem to be argueing both positions in the same thread that you started?

    You would think even if we stink since the Giants are clearly worse than us and play below expectations we should end up on top. If I didn't know better I would think you are arguing for the sake of argument and looking to win an argument in stead of participating in a "friendly" discussion? It appears you just like to argue any point and than laugh or call people morons who don't agree with either side your arguing which in this case appears to be both sides.

    I like the truth and I post the truth. The truth is Chad is playing well and is way down the list of problems w/ the team. I responded to you calling the giants much more talented than us which they clearly are not. You now like to underrate our talent when in the past you overrated it b/c you like our current HC and hated our previous HC.

    I call people morons who blame Chad for this week's loss b/c they are. I knew the whiners needing scapegoats would be out in full force, if this was 2 years ago those whiners would be bashing Herm but now their scapegoat is Chad so every win will be in spite of Chad and every loss will be b/c of Chad.

    We're bad in other years too. We don't just save it for the NFC east.

    That may be somewhat true but their DL is so much better that you can't even compare the two teams. If you don't think so then just watch what they do to our QBs (yes, plural) this week. The only way we can possibly stop them is to keep two tight ends and two RBs in to protect. If we do that then that takes away every one of Pennington's receivers. Well, most anyway.

    You are seriously delusional. You will defend Chad to the bitter end regardless of his performance. Better than Eli? LOL

    Well, Chad clearly has more playoff appearances and playoff wins under his belt than does Eli. I think the numbers have to speak for themselves. I mean Dante Culpepper can throw the ball twice as far as Chad, but I would never say Dante Culpepper is a better QB.

    There is a difference between truth and opinion. Calling people morons and laughing at them for having different opinions than you and than trying to pawn off your opinions as truth borders between ironic and just plain pathetic.

    Junc, the NFL is all about match-ups, and anyone with a working brain cell can clearly see that on paper this game is a total mismatch in favor of the Giants. The Giants are far better than the Jets in two key areas, one is obviously their defensive line. A line that has a tremendous amount of depth, especially if you include Kiwanuka when he's lining up in a 3-point stance. And two is the Giants offensive line, which is full of maulers, can create gaping running lanes, and have been very good this season in protection.

    I know your point was only to counter Winton's assertion that the Giants field a more talented roster, a point which for all intents and purposes is unprovable either way. Although I'm sure now that I've said that you'll waste countless hours trying to prove me wrong. But my point is to say the argument is moot, because the Jets are completely over matched in the two most important areas [on paper anyway]. Which is why they'll probably lose this game, and the majority of the games remaining on their schedule.

    Junc Eli is playing moons better than Chad right now...its not even close....you also underestimate burress very much. he is the best wide receiver in new york right now. coles and cotch might...might have a slight edge as a tandem.....jones and leon may have more talent than the giant backs but since their O-line is light years ahead of ours it doesnt matter.

    as far as your original point....we suck a lot when we play the NFC east because we suck a lot period. Its really not complicated. We're not exactly historically a top ranked team....although listening to you you would think so......

    lets go by position:
    Eli>Chad
    Ward<Jones (even though Ward's doing better this season..)
    Mathews<Barnes
    Plaxico>Coles
    Amani=Cotchery(Cotchery is more big threat, Amani more sure handed)
    Moss<McCareins
    Diehl>D'Brick
    Seubert>Clark
    O'Hara<Mangold
    Snee>Moore
    McKensie>Clement

    D will be hard cause you have a 3-4 and we have a 4-3. ill make Thomas a DE and Coleman a DT.

    Osi>Thomas
    Robbins>Coleman
    Coefield<Robertson
    Strahan<Ellis(Stra is still getting back, if it was Tuck starting id change it)
    Mitchell<Hobson
    Pierce=Vilma
    Kiwanuka>Barton
    Madison=Dyson
    Ross>Barrett
    McQuarters<Revis
    Rhodes=Wilson
    Butler<Coleman

    Tynes<<<<<Nugent
    Feagles>>>Graham
    Droughns<Washington

    by this i would say the Giants have the edge 11-10. the only thing that makes a big difference to me is that we have the better o+d-line

    :rofl: Oh wait...just give me a second......

    :rofl: Cotchery is one of the top 5 receivers in the league in terms of talent. He has one drop and he's "not sure-handed"?
