I see this as a very unnecessary signing. I really hope we draft a WR on the first day this year. We already have a kid who can return the hell out of the ball in Justin Miller. I understand that Dwight has great speed and can stretch the field but lets not overrate this guy. He played with Tom Brady last year and was not very successful.

Miller should focus on being a starting CB and the kick returner. He has trouble with returning punts. Dwight is an awesome punt returner.

Now that we have Tim Dwight, does this team still have room for Troy Brown? Probably won't now but I would have liked to have seen him in green.

Schotty says we're gonna have a vertical game...with Dwight on are we going to use 4wr sets more often?

Untill Chad prooves he no longer has a "noodle arm", there will be no "vertical game".

on kick returns, two deep (Miller & Dwight) and whoever it goes to returns the hell out of it.

    on punt returns, Dwight

    WR depth chart (hopefully) (1)Coles, (2)Cotcher, (3)McCareins, (4)Dwight
    - this could lead to a stretch-the-field/verticle passing game

Tim Dwight is a solid signing. Like it's been posted already he has quality's akin to Chrebet which makes him blue collar IMO. He is a great punt returner and a reciever that can take a lick

Good signing. I could see him being the #3 WR even. But he'll be alright none the less.

Love this signing. Works hard at what he does and we got him at an incredible price.

    Tannenbaum's doing great so far.

Very solid pick up... Should make it easier to relax when the opposing team is punting along with allowing Miller to focus 100% of being a starting corner.

Alright so I'm a huge Hawkeye fan, needless to say I'm very excited about this signing. Anybody know what jersey number he will have? I think I'll be purchasing one.

Best punt returner we ever had, he's like a human pinball. NO fear.

Darn, I almost missed this news with all of the Abe talk. You summed up exactly what I was thinking. The idea of JM and TD back to return KOs has to have Westhoff creaming in his jeans....
