loved chads rush td today and his celebration, it looked totally uncoordinated and like he had no idea what to do and was out of step.

so funny but it was awesome!!!

you could tell it was probably his first time celebrating that!!!:finssuck:

anyway, great game by chad, he is a star and the heart of this team.

too bad the d let up late but a W is a W.

Anyone still have the pic of the horribly awkward first down celebration he did against the Texans a couple years ago?

    That was priceless.

great game, Chad proves once again to his critics that he is exactly where he should be, starting QB for the NYJets.

He was fired up. Spiking the ball was fitting for basically walking into the endzone for the TD.

Whether you feel he should be starting or not, I don't see how people don't love this guy.

Hopefully someone will get it on YouTube or something. I had three friends text me about it so it has to be good (boo for living in the woods so I can't get NFL Sunday Ticket).

That's what has been bothering me most about the whole pro/con Chad arguments over the past week. I do love the guy, there hasn't been a QB for the Jets in my entire lifetime as a fan who I would rather see lead the Jets to a championship. He was excellent today, as he always is against the Phins, and made a statement to everyone, including myself, why he is the starter.

Ball speed and distance arguments aside, Pennington is a superior game manager and great leader for the team. That's the stuff that makes it such a painful trade-off when you have a young guy challenging for the position, but we also saw Chad with some fire under his ass this week and it was great to see.

Chad's always fired up. I was at the Jets/Ravens game two years ago right after he injured his shoulder again and he spent the entire game yelling at people and waving his towel. He might not have been playing, but there was no doubt that he was in the game.

What was Chad's QB rating today? Where do you find it?

I beg to differ, but I'm not going to make a point of it after how well he played today.

This forum might be quiet this week, what with Chad playing well and about 100 topics last week with who should play ;)

Examples? Seriously, because whenever I've seen him either playing or not playing he's always animated and pumped.

What about 'I'm not going to make a point of it' is so hard to understand? I'm not going to bust on the guy after a great day, I'll point to examples of it as it happens this season.

Props to Chad today. He really played a great game. Our D could have been better, but no complaints with the O and it all starts with Chad. Our schedule doesn't look bad the next few and hopefully Chad has some confidence going into these games.

Chill out, it was an innocent question. I'm not maligning your Pennington observation skills.
