Why? So we can watch Kellen hand the ball of 30times while the D does nothing? Is Chad a D lineman? Those are the guys who should be embarassed.
When did Chad start playing on defense? If so Chad should not start of defense. If fact they all pretty much stunk. Winning this game by 3 points is an embarrassment.
Chad deserves some big props today he played an excellent game, looked very confident and kept the Miami D on their heels. I loved the throw on the roll out left, very tough to do and he put it right in there. Granted I got the feeling I was watching two teams that aren't all that good but Chad did everything right today.
The Jets won that game because of Chad. They damn near lost it because of the crappy D. And Kellen's gonna change that how?

I think we can all agree that johnnysd sits out the rest of the season because Chad has proven time and time again that he wins games and that he should be the starting QB for the NYjets.
I didn't mean to take a dig at Chad today he was great, but without that runback and the over all plus game by the specials I'm not sure our D doesn't figure a way to blow this one?
Did you consider the fact that Chad could have gone 22 of 25 for 250 yards and 3 TDs and we could still have lost if the Dplayed the way they did? Your answer in such a scenario would be to sit the QB? So no, if we had lost, sitting Chad would not necesarily have been the answer.....not a well-thought-through thread ....
Chad gives us the best chance at winning. People bash him for his non-rocket-laser-cannon arm, but they fail to realize how he still is in the top 3 in the NFL for play-action and pre-snap audibling (let alone in the top 3 for intelligence @ the QB play position).
Whoever says Chad needs to go and throw Clemens to the Wolves just doesn't have a single brain cell in their head. I liked what the kid brought towards the end of the game at Baltimore, but I'm not going to have him play every single game so he can get himself killed. Eric Mangini is the coach, it's his decision who is the starting QB & none of you who wants Chad gone has no say. Mangini isn't going to change his mind on a whim, just because you anti-Chad haters want him gone & Clemens to start. If Clemens did start he wouldn't last this year. He could be injured after the pounding he took from the Ravens on Week 2, but thankfully he wasn't. You want the future now? it could end very quickly. Chad is our QB so deal with it. If you can't handle seeing Chad as our starting QB, then turn in your Jets jerseys. We don't need you anymore.
LOL, I though that was you too. I see no reason to kill the D. The Prevent D at the end of the game gave up too many points, but other then that the Jets D forced a number of punts, forced field goals and Ronnie Browns rush TD was mostly due to a penalty in the endzone the play before.
We have a run game because Chad is awesome at play action and execution. The little things make a difference.
