Whether or not that is true is irrelevant. What strikes me, though, is that even if he has decided to start Kellen, or when he eventually does, we will be surprised by it on Sunday. Mangini does everything he can to get an edge. If he decides it is time to give the reins to Kellen he will publicly say all week before the game that Chad is starting. The opposing team will prepare for Chad, and we will get a small advantage in that game because of it. So my point is that nothing Mangini says has any validity to it regarding the QB situation. He will say that Chad is the starter until the day of the game that the change is made permanently.
I agree, a new QB Era for a NY Football team is huge, no matter how mediocre we are right now. that story would break. furthermore if kellen is gonna start playing he needs to be practicing with the first unit constantly and working on a chemistry with recievers not named McDrop. thats what a competitive advantage is.
It was strange to hear Clemens say he didn't know until right before kickoff I would've agreed that they would have a specific gameplan in place for Kellen, to stress his positives
Let's just also say that my grandmother holds the current world heavyweight championship boxing title. Whether or not that is true is irrelevent, but can we talk about that too?
I don’t think any Coach would put the wraps on the season just yet! Chad has this 4 game stretch to resurrect some confidence and get his ship righted. The only way we go Kellen the rest of the way is if he is re-injured (Can I say that?) or if his current...Thing gets worse.
