The offical "I hate Sean Salisbury" thread I dont know about you guys, but im sick and tired of Sean Salisbury steak. Every week, he has something negative to say about the jets. Last year, He counted us out of the playoffs for 16 straight weeks, and look what happened. This year , He is Bill Billicick's love slave. He actually said, and i quote, " They should put a slash on the lombardy trophy and call it the lombardy/billichick trophy" DOES ANYBODY BUT ME FIND THIS DISTURBING????????????? Who is this guy and why does he feel he knows so much about football. He was the backup QB for the vikings for two seconds. No one remembers him, He praises every team in the NFL except the Jets. I'm not saying the guy should kiss our ass, but at least be objective. Chris Berman always gives an honest opinion about the Jets, sometimes he picks us to win, sometimes to lose, but he doesn't swing on Bill Billishit's balls. I dont know, what do u guys think????
I dont know what personal grudge this guy has against us, but think back, have you ever heard him say anything that you agree with? Not just with the Jets, but sports period. I swear I wanted to throw up when I heard him commentate on baseball on ESPN radio
Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, Bill Parcells, Mark Schlereth, and Steve Young might argue with that.
Don't get me wrong, I can listen to Chris Berman, Cornheiser,Tom Jack,Bill Parcels, Steve YOung, Irvin, Keyshawn is growing one me, Emmitt sucks as a sportscaster but for the most part I love the insight former players give,however mr salsbiry sucks urks me
I didnt mean all of the guys...The only thing Salisbury amounted to was a grey Cup in the CFL and a few garbage time, tom brady at Michigan snaps in the NFL..From his wikipedia page...Even John Clayton hates him "Clayton once famously got back at Salisbury. During an argument, Salisbury attempted to prove his point by telling Clayton, "You never played in the NFL." Clayton, noting that Salisbury spent most of his career as a backup quarterback on the sidelines (he received about a year's worth of NFL snaps in an eight year career), fired back, "neither did you!"
I actually like Emmitt in the booth, i cant stand Cornhole though, he even admits to not knowing football....he suck IMO
he is horrible. he annoys the shit out of me. In 02 he had his contenders/pretenders in Novermber,and he called us pretenders that would not make the playoffs. I guess he had nothing to say about 41-0 over the Colts.
cornheiser makes me laugh. and plus PTI is one of my favorite shows. true, he knows nothing about football, but he is entertaining. Emmitt can't commentate, he's a hall of fame rb, but on sunday he spent ten minutes trying to pronounce Jason David's name. it kind of ruined the vibe on the show. But to his defense, he is the only one that said Joey Galloway was going to have a big day
I have not watched a "pre game show" or any of those type shows in about 8 years. I only watch games, (except for the draft) and come to my own conclussions.

id much rather take the radio guys persepective on the games. Guys like Beningo and Roberts, Brandon Tierney, even Don LaGreca (sp?) seem to knwo the game well
