H'mm are you thinking of contraction? At least that route would end the suffering for the NYJ fans for sure if that occurred but it will not since Woody has a huge investment in the joint stadium with the NYGs
If the jets knew Kendell was gone, maybe they should have given some rookies more playing time in the pre-season
They gave the other options at LG all the first team play and had Kendall working with the second team all pre-season. Maybe they were hoping for a surprise cut from somebody late that they could sign to shore up the line. The left side of the Jets line is a turnstile right now on passing downs.
WTF are you smoking? I've been counting mississippi and I get to about 2 and there's a defensive back on him or the left side has collapsed.
Kendall was mediocre last year even though he got additional signing bonus for reworking his deal. He was paid in advance last season to make less this season. That point seems to be lost on the sheep at times. He balked at the deal HE AGREED TO, and the FO showed him the door. The fact that he was an ass-hat in the media and locker room whenever he hit his time of the month made the move even better. Moore is paid like a backup OG even with the new deal. The longer he stays with us the cheaper he becomes. He's a decent player that could be a big help to our OL even if he eventually becomes a backup.
I don't know what game you were watching, he had 4-6 secs on average to throw. he just couldn't make quick enough decisions based on his inexperienced. Go back and watch the tape and watch closely, count the secs and let me know what you find.
It was absolutely the worst move they have made. They then made it even worse then that by giving Moore a new contract with a million dollar raise, exactly what Kendall was asking for. Moore? Are you fucking kidding me?
Was Kendall the "lucky charm"? All I know is the jets got rid of him and they are 0-2 and the Skins are 2-0. quincedence? (sp)
We'll sure find out in a hurry as now we get to play Miami, Buffalo, NY and Philly over the next 4 weeks.
I did see that a couple of times in the first half, but overall, he had very little time in the pocket. And even when he did, it was collapsing all around him, which can't help when your trying to focus on your receivers in in between all that Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.
The fact is Tannenbaum blew it with Kendall. He allowed a contract dispute to become personal causing the mess that our running game is now in. Jones hasn't run like we had hoped and our pass protection has been terrible for all but the last quarter of Sunday's game.Tannenbaum needs to put his ego in check when it comes to contract negotiations.
