I don't think that they can throw on us. McNair sucks, and their receivers are average at best.

McGahee isn't very good, but he kills us every year. I think that this shapes up to be a 16-10 type game. The key is taking advantage of opportunities and scoring in the red zone. We did that our two chances against New England, which was one of the few good signs. However, we were bad between the 20's.

    The Ravens look very beatable....

McNair looks old, slow and shaky, and the defense does NOT look stellar.... Not to mention Ray Lewis looks like he got hurt... If we can protect the QB, whomever he may be, I think we can take this one

They are beatable. But they won't be fumbling like this next week.

And they are going to be even more angry next week if we lose. I just hope we come out with some intensity next week. Who saw chad throw on the hall of fame jacket after he scored??

I'm watching the game too. Ray Lewis is still holding his arm. The Ravens look horrible so far. And just now a personal foul. This game next week might be winnable for us, folks.

Yea yea, I know, still early, we don't know Chad's status, blah blah.

I was hoping Baltimore would win this game. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen, but it's very early.

I really hope Mangini and Sutton put the Jets defense to work this week in practices leading up to Sunday. They need a revamping from the way they played against the Pats in yesterdays game. They are a lot better than the way they played, that's for sure. I'm not worried about the Ravens offense, so if the defense shows up the way we know they can, I think we won't be so bad. It's the defense of the Ravens we have to worry about.

Whether the QB is Chad or Kellen, the O-Line needs to step it up BIG. The Ravens have a scary defense, and so our QB needs to be protected in order to have any shot against that D'. Also, the O-Line needs to step it up for Thomas Jones, or Leon, or anyone else who runs the ball. Setting up holes for them to go through and blocks will be key come Sunday. If we pick apart the Ravens defense one play at a time, I can see us having a shot at winning the game. That of course, is a big if, and hopefully the Jets can get it done.

These guys are killers plain and simple. We have a better offense than them but they will kill us with the run and destroy us with their defense. If we beat them I will be shocked! If they lose againse Cincy they will be fired up.

Our line on both sides needs to step it up. our recievers are ready, we got two studs runnin the ball. Chad Or kellen will get it done as long as the line does it's job. Same goes for our pass rush. it dont matter if we got champ and dangelo back there if we got no pass rush our secondary will break. I gotta keep the faith taht mangini will get this ball club back on the right track.

I'm not really impressed by the Ravens but BOTH of our lines have to play better in order to win. We CAN win this one!

A side note on this game... Yes, I watched the Colts Thursday night, and yes I watched Brady carve up our D yesterday.. But I think Carson Palmer is the most talented QB in the league.. Brady and Manning are the only guys close, and both of them are on incredible teams... Palmer has a bunch of weapons, but those guys are not as good as they play without Palmer in there... That guy has the best arm I've seen in a long time

Ogden re-injured his hyper-extended toe, McNair having groin problems, Ray Lewis has a boo-boo on his elbow, and Ed Reed also experiencing some injury.

At this rate, we won't have a team to beat.

The Jets never really opened it up till it was too late. Lots of little dump off's and 5 yard routes. am I wrong was there even a single shot down feild? I had about 16 beer's so by the end I was cheering for the Bronco's and the Dead skins. We have to realize Thomas Jones is not going to find anything up the middle; all his running yards are going to be found on the corners . Once again the TE Gets Employed when there in desperate mode. Once again Baker comes through with good catches.(Too little too late). Leon Washington also Trying to run up the gut this is not the proper way to use theses guy's . Im just a regualr joe smoe and I could tell yopu what was drastically wrong with ewhat was displayed during the game! P.s. David Barrett (Mr. Hip Flexer) is garbage, Justine Miller is "NOT" ready for prime time. We got problems boy's ! But if the coaching staff can put it together we may find a groove. This game is a must win!!!!!!!!!! Already.

    LEWIS HAS TORN TRICEPS?

While working the Live Blog of the Monday night opener, we heard from a source that it's believed that Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis has a serious arm injury.

Moments ago, Suzy Kolber of ESPN reported that Lewis likely has a torn triceps muscle in his right arm.

Even with the injury, Lewis is playing as well as ever. It remains to be seen whether he'll be able to continue to play with the injury after this week's game.

that would help big time if ray lewis does not play

Is Ray Lewis injured? I didn't see the game, but just read that he left after shooting someone in Atlanta.

The only scary thing about the Ravens is their pass defense, and with the way Pennington threw at New England, Im not overly concerned. Thats assuming Pennington plays of course; Itd be pretty bad luck if Clemens' has to play Ed Reed, Chris Mcallister, Samari Rolle, etc. in his first NFL start.
