Today on 9/9/07 I am embarrased to be a Jet fan. The behavior of Jet fans today booing Chad is an embarrasment. For 2 years I have read this board, and thought to myself "god, Jets fans are stupid". Today I know I am right!!!!!! Chad was the only thing good thing today, Chad did not lose this game today. The defense and special teams lost this game. All of those fans that cheered Chad getting hurt, when he "took it like a man", tried to walk it off, while the defense led by John Vilma "who got burned more then Barrett" gets a free pass and Jet fans continue to wear his Jersey. I know this is the Pats, but this does not get any easier. If Mangini was really a genius, he would realize this team only has 4-3 personel. By the way, Chad was throw for throw for with Brady before the defense let the Pats hold the ball for 10 mins. I am out here on a limb Jet fans? Talk to me Gang Green?

just got home from the game... stadium was rocking early on, but as the game slipped away so did the crowd... Booing chad was terrible.
We are the only team in the league with a homefield disadvantage. Jet fans turn on the team so quickly it's ridiculous. I think it's because we've been burned so many times that we're just waiting for them to F up!!
Opening day vs a divisional rival and I had to pump max out the volume on my surround sound to hear the crowd. When I changed it to other games, their stadiums were packed and rockin. At first I thought they were cheering for Clemens when he came in, but then I figured most people there share the same anti-Chad sentiment I read on this board. I think Jets fans are just ready for a change

I didn`t see or hear anyone booing Chad, but I alrewady left because I knew better. The Jets will not win more than 6 games in 2007. Suck my arse if you think they will. You`re only kidding yourself. Wait till next year. Thats when the Jets will get better. They have a brutal schedule this year, but I knew that already. Last year was a fluke. This is the REAL Jets team we have.
Lets not dump the season quite yet, if we beat the teams we should we will be 8-8 :grin: Seriously, this was the Pats and the Ravens are up next week, just prepare to be 0-2, the next few games after those 2 games, we have a chance to pick up some wins.
Jet fans are not great NFL fans. It is sad, but true. The season ticket wait list is long, but there are frequently open seats (yeah, yeah, I know...lots of traffic). The crowd noise isn't even in the same league as places like Denver, Washington, Seattle, KC, Green Bay, Chicago, etc. Those other places truly rock. We are loyal (Chad Pennington booing aside), but don't we don't provide a real home field advantage.
I can. I knew it was goinmg to get ugly in that stadium wether they boo Chad or what. Thats why I left. I don`t want to subject my 10 year old daughter to a bunch of fucking asshole fans. It was her first real Jets game(non-preseason). It`s a shame how rude, obnoxious and disgusting Jets fans really are. WE SUCK AS FANS!!!
