    Sup guys...

I select 3rd tonight at 5:00 for my draft and I have a dilemma...The 1st pick is obviously Tomlinson...

Then when the guy pulled #2 out of the hat, and I picked 3...We talked...He said he doesn't like Steven Jackson or Larry Johnson, and I just stayed quiet really...

My hope is he passes on Jackson...But in the case that he doesn't...Where do I go? I don't like LJ because of the time he missed, he has lost 3 excellent offensive lineman the last 2 seasons, and Tony Richardson.

I don't like Shaun Alexander at 3 either...I have it down to Gore(knees worry me) LJ, and Brian Westbrook...

Hopefully he just passes on Jackson and he is mine, but if not...Suggestions would be nice.

I don't know how you pass up Larry Johnson. I kept trying to drop hints to the #2 guy on how good LJ was, but it didn't work.

    You have to take LJ.

Take Gore. Don't touch Alexander of LJ with a barge pole. If you don't like Gore, and can trade picks, drop back and take Reggie Bush or Westbrook at 5 or 6, pick up a better choice later on.

LJ or SA are great picks there(I prefer SA cause he plays for a real coach and had half of last year off)...if you can trade down...go with Addai in the 5 or 6 range (you don't take a sharing RB in the top 6)...or take one of scots guys in the 8-10 range.

If #2 claims he's not a fan of Jackson or Johnson, slide up to #2 and grab Jackson. If Jackson goes #2, you have to take LJ at #3. After LJ, the next grouping, in my opinion, are all basically equal (Addai, Gore, Rudi, Alexander, Parker). Of the four Rudi probably is the "safest" bet. He has the lowest ceiling, but also the highest floor. Gore & Alexander are injury risks but have a lot of potential. Parker & Addai need to prove consistency before you can consider them a sure thing.

Which direction you go in depends a lot on your league scoring. If it's yardage heavy or a points per reception league, you would obviously shift guys up and down.

You have to take LJ if he is there. I would also consider Gore

    Avoid Johnson.

I'd LOVE Steven Jackson because he's going to own, in my opinion. Pray he slips. If not, I'd probably go Gore.

You have to LJ. You know Herm loves to give his RBs 400 carries a year.

and RBs who get that many carries break down. Which is why Herm is going to be crushed when he discovers he can't abuse Johnson anymore.

Well, Jackson went 2nd, I knew it was a smoke-screen.

Let me preface by saying LJ went 7th...

I went Frank Gore. I had it down to Gore and Westbrook, and went Gore.

    I wen Gore-Bulger-Fitzgerald-Galloway-Betts...

I'll give the rest of my team later.

Thats putting a lot of weight on Betts to take carries from Portis... I personally think he's going to whether Portis gets hurt or not, but thats a very risky move. Hopefully you've backed him up well.

Here's my 12...And the order went (LT, Jackson, Gore, Addai, Alexander, Maroney, LJ)

    Gore-Bulger-Fitzgerald-Galloway-Betts-Curtis-Norwood-Leon-Akers-Saints-Winslow Jr.- Brady Quinn...

I figure Quinn starts by Bulger's Week 9 BYE.

I agree with your Gore pick.

I have him as my 3rd ranked back behind LdT and Jackson.

I got Gore 4th in the league I'm in.

I actually like Norwood more than betts for this season. I think you reached for Betts.
