Unless the jets trade up which i think will not happen dont expect them to get Cutler or Leinart. The way it will go is the saints will trade with the Vikings or another mid-round team then they will get leinart. Then the titans will scoop up Cutler at number three.
i still think the Jets can make a move to trade up to grab leinart. i just dont know if they will. I've heard the the saints want two 1st round picks for the #2 pick. IF the Jets can get a 1st round pick for J Abe then they will have some ammo to make a move.
at this point you can't make that assumption. both Texas and NO have QB's, so unless Tennessee is given special permission to draft two players with the 3rd pick, and they are foolish enough to take both Cutler and Leinart, one of them will be there at 4. both NO and Texas need the quality players they can get with teh 1st and 2nd picks so I don't think it is a certainty by any stretch one of them trades down.
and if we get the 15th pick we could maybe get lendale white, getting cutler and white to start our rebuilding process gives me a lot of optimism.
I watch college football on a regular basis and i didnt hear anything about him until about 2 weeks before the senior bowl. apparently he can make all the throws, but i havent seen enough of him to jump on the Jay Cutler bandwagon.
hello people????? we have 2 qbs!!!!!!!!!!!!! at this point i wanna trade down to get deangelo williams and pick up another 2nd rounder.....that would be sick nasty!:breakdance:
Here's a new mock to get your hormones rollin http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/don_banks/03/14/mock.draft3.part1/index.html
I say if we dont draft leinart or cutler dont draft up a QB at all. Croyle or Whitehurst would be wasted picks IMO.
If you call those QB's good then your on somethin GOOOD. You feel comfortable with "2" QB's? Pennington and RAMSEY to top it off?
