 The key is taking the medication very very early in the morning. BB takes his after a full day of coaching...so his only normal hours is while he is sleeping. Good to see you MP!
Same here. You know something I have decided this place need some lightening up. So for now in between some serious posts I am going to joke with the good posters and the good Pats trolls ( any poster that likes the Pats is a troll :lol. It seems as is they are a rarity nowadays. Gotta find a way around all the negativity. BTW your posts are as welcome.
Think it is OUT OF CONTEXT ???? here is quote from article by King "Most told me I was loony to have Rhodes ranked in the 20s and Bills tackle Jason Peters in the 30s. I believe Rhodes comes closest to Ed Reed (12), the best impact safety in the game, and I believe Peters, a converted tight end, will be an All-Pro within two years. So I wouldn't move them down even if Bill Belichick called and said, "Neither of those guys could make my team."
I think the man was obviously being sarcastic. That doesnt mean he isnt a scumbag though. He is a great coach with character issues.
Wow....Belly's starting to lose it up there. Wasn't Rhodes someone he really wanted in the '05 draft and we took him right before Belly could?
This is pretty funny. I would think most of you have seen enough BB video to know that this was obviously a joke. My guess is the stupid reporter couldn't tell that BB was kidding and used that quote to create controversy.
Cimini is an idiot. Here's the SI story again: "Most told me I was loony to have Rhodes ranked in the 20s and Bills tackle Jason Peters in the 30s. I believe Rhodes comes closest to Ed Reed (12), the best impact safety in the game, and I believe Peters, a converted tight end, will be an All-Pro within two years. So I wouldn't move them down even if Bill Belichick called and said, "Neither of those guys could make my team." Stupid, idiotic writer.
Belicheck needs to focus on his football team moreso then figuring out what to say to piss off Jets players, coaching staff, and fans...it seems he going a bit overboard with that statement it appears he puts reputation before personal relationships....what a great guy! edit: I didnt whole read the article, but I just read what Cimini wrote....ahem...MORON!!!
Can you read? HE NEVER INTERVIEWED Belichick...........it says EVEN IF HE SAID meaning he didn't say it BUT IF HE DID.
Hahahaha this whole thread quickly turned from Belly's an asshole to Cimini's a douche. Lovely turn, I agree with both sentiments.
It really is an ENORMOUS mistake by Cimini and one it seems a lot of jet fans were breathlessly excited to jump on - 'though I certainly understand the instinct. The worst part, I think, is that Cimini went around asking jet PLAYERS what they thought of the quote. Now it's just blowing up in his face, all over the internet. The sports editor at the Daily News, as of 30 minutes ago, had NO IDEA about it despite the fact that it's on every football website I know.
How is Belly an asshole? Because he quit your team in favor of creating a Dynasty in New England? Because he wasn't warm and fuzzy with Mangini after Mangini pulled shit that he agreed not to, tried to get into the Gillette facilities after being told he couldn't do so? They had a feud, it's settled now, I'm not sure exactly what makes BB an asshole? Is he socially awkward? For sure. Can he be prickly with the press? Yep - any why not? They're lazy, illl-informed and they pull crap like this all the time. I think he's a hard-nosed, focused, surly FREAK, but asshole? I don't see it.
Cheating on his wife and therefore not being a good role model to his kids would maybe qualify him as an asshole more than anything else.
He didn't cheat on his wife. That's not something that has EVER been argued - except for made up insinuations from wishing-it-were-so Cimini-ites like yourself.
