    You know,

I'd be happy with any of the three. What if Leinart somehow fell to us at #4? But I can't see us getting him since we picked up Ramsey.

Jets have a much better chance of landing Maroney than they do D. Williams. Personally, Maroney sounds like the more exciting, game-changing RB to me. If the Jets can get that 15 away from Atlanta, they'll be in great shape, and will have TONS of options.

Ever since they traded for Ramsey and retained Pennington, I have never had such a ? in which way they are going this year. Being that Mangini is a former defensive coordinator, going defense is a possibility. I give up. I can't speculate anymore! I still wish to trade up for Leinart.

The odds of being in the position of drafting Quinn next year are very low. You will have to be rooting against the Jets from the 1st. snap. This year we have about a 90% chance of getting the top QB "prospect". Lets go for it! Also, Is Quinn a better prospect than Leinart. I dont know. I guess we'll have to see how he does this year.

    Good point!

Waiting for a guy in the '07 draft is mining fools gold. You never know whats going to happen in the course of the next year. What if we're 8-8 in '06? What if Quinn blows out his knee?

since when was curtis a gamebreaker? i still see him rushing for 1200 yds if healthy, he is THE most consistent back in NFL history, one off year with an injury and a porous o-line and everyone is sayin he is done, i believe in curtis and there is no need to waste a high pick on a rb, especially if we get atlanta to throw us tj duckett and there #2 for abey the baby

I'd love Mario to replace Abe, but we seriously need some offense, it can be at any position. We pretty much could use an upgrade at tackle, center, WR, TE, QB, and RB. I would love if we could possibly get Vernon Davis and DeAngelo Williams if we get the Falcons first, or maybe with the Seahawks first we could take White and Maroney. Then trade down to get Davis and get some extra picks. I just like Davis because he's the best offensive weapon in the draft besides Bush, better than any of the WRs IMO, and DeAngelo is the second biggest offensive weapon (besides Bush). We need weapons, and those two would be a great start to helping Chad or Ramsey, whoever our QB is.

I would like the front office to fix our o-line first and foremost. I don't want our QB's going down like last year.

I was responding to rochesterJet's comment on how Curtis would return to 2004 form and be a step quicker than last year. I overstated my enthusiasm with the gamebreaker thing though. I have been sold on Curtis since he was a patriot. One class act for our organization.

All the D. Williams talk did die down, but I'm still optimistic. Bring him to NY Tangini!

Williams has the potential to become a great NFL back. He will definately be a duel threat in the form of LT or Marshall Faulk.

The only thing that concerns me about him is his mileage. He carried the ball a LOT in college, and suffered some injuries along the line.

With that said, if we somehow land a pick in the 10-20 range, I wouldn't mind grabbing him.

However, I think he'll end up in Baltimore (13). IMO he would be a perfect compliment/successor to Jamal Lewis.
