    I like this question...

I think Ty Warren would be the guy I probably would want to play for the Jets...if we had TY Warren we could move him all over the defensive line...NT, LE, RE. He would really help against the Run too.

Because no one mentioned him: Antonio Gates
    I wouldn't mind Troy Polamalu

i also thought about the 2, cuz they?re just great at their positon, but Gates is wasted in our system, imo Crumpler would be a better TE for us, cuz he?s a better blocker.

And for Polamalu, we already have a "allovertheplace"-Safety, no need for a 2nd one.

There are some positions, that have just much more impact on the game than others, if we could select a player there?s no chance i would sellect a TE, FB, G, C, K or P.

i think for our system, Ty Warren would be the better player at DE! And he?s younger.

i agree but ty has a decent supporting cast around him, peppers creates havoc by himself and his speed for a dl is unbelievable.

For DE I would love to have Will Smith from the Saints, I think over the next few seasons he is going to beome the cream at that position - Peppers is a force and I love him (Panthers are my NFC fav team) but I dont see him fitting well up in New York.

I'd go with Carson Palmer. The age difference gives him an edge IMO over Manning/Brady.

If it couldn't be a QB, I'd say Merriman. An absolute beast and a perfect fit for the Jets' system.

For me, it is T.O. or nobody. TO is a model NFL player and an ass et to any team.

    Shawn Merriman

If I got one on offense and one on defense i would take Steve Hutchinson on offense and Shawn Merriman on Defense

No one in their right mind would take Steve Hutchinson over Peyton Manning.

As much as it kills to say this, Brady because the guys always seems to play well and beat us. Maybe even a guy like Wilfork who is great in a 3-4 run defense.
