I do agree with the line issue & we all want a 350lb. beast in the middle. I just want the bleeding up the gut 2 stop & wherever that fix comes from I dont care. Out of all our weaknessses I c this as the greatest. Mr. Scikotics & all Jets nation. Hopefully Harrises progress & size development will be fast.
Frankly, I can't agree more that the Jets lack an interior presence on the dline that is vital for stopping the run. But, we also have a nice pass rushing d tackle that a lot of teams lack so its give and take. I don't think the Jets take a flyer at this guy (who happens to be an excellent tackler and could help us) simply because Mangini spent a 2nd and 3rd round pick to move up and get Harris, a guy he coveted. Plus, Tannenbaum isn't excactly shelling out the bills right now is he? We'll be fine if we can rotate in a good run stopper like pouha and kenyon can add a presence on the outside.
"It's a tough pill to swallow, but everyone gets to this point in their career at some point or another, and now is my time," Trotter said at a news conference. "I'm just thankful that I spent this many years in Philadelphia. I truly believe that if you were to cut me, I'd bleed green." lol
