Is it still Gonzales, or is he slowing down?

Antonio Gates is the best. After him it's Gonzalez, then a dropoff. I'd say after those two, I'd rank it Heap, Winslow, Crumpler, Witten, Shockey, and Cooley. Watson and Davis are close too.

It's been Antonio Gates for the past 3 seasons.

After Gates I think Heap is the best... mainly because he's the Stormin Mormon

Alge Crumpler seems to be chronically overlooked.

he is, he really is. hes an all around TE too. prolly blocks better than gates too.

id have him on this team in a heartbeat. i think the fact he had vick for a qb may have kept him out of the national spotlight. but anyone whos ever watched the falcons should notice crumpler deserves to be mentioned as one of the best TE's around.

Gates is the best receiving TE, but as said, Crumpler is the best all around. He's got very good receiving skills and much better blocking skills then Gates, and if he had LT and an actual QB Crumpler would be able to be on Antonio's level.

Have to agree that Gates is the best TE in the game but also agree that Crumpler is really underated. TG has slowed over the past season and a half. Im also a big fan of Heath Miller

It's clearly Gates, but the homer in me wants to say Witten. Though Witten is an outstanding TE.

No tight end in the league can long-snap like James Dearth.
