The majority of the english speaking world spells that word "centre". Same as they spell "defense" and "offense" as "defence" and "offence". That's a ridiculous thing to call somebody out over. :breakdance:
Maybe you've never traveled or been exposed to other cultures outside of the US. CENTRE is 100% correct- check your sources before calling someone out.
I was talking about Kendall's name as a joke, but the rest is a bit nit-picky. Never did much care for that. I spell theater as 'theatre' and maneuver as 'manoeuvre'. Old habits die hard, I guess. And 'centre' isn't wrong. Queens English - and I'm not English. Whatever. My big thing is typos, repeating the same word twice, or leaving out words altogether. Give me time.
Centre is an actual word. However, for somebody to use "centre" when talking about an American football player I find it quite odd.
It's not correct in football terminology...so watch some actual games before being a jerk off. C E N T E R
Life must be good when all you have to concern yourself with is correcting some random stranger online over the spelling of a word. Kudo's to those of you leading such charmed and impressive lives... :breakdance:
After reading all these posts whether Kendall did it on purpose or not brings up an interesting point. The thought did cross my mind that he did it intentionally, but as a pro, he likely did not. It would make him look like an idiot. I think he is the best guard we have right now and he should start. We have him under contract for 3 more years. He might be here next year too. The bumbled snaps might have humbled him...maybe not. For some reason Mangini thinks someone else is better, sit him on the bench as a back up. I think the team could have tossed him some cash to shut him up, but hey he is under contract. Both parties have to live by that. If not then what's a contract worth anyway?
I don't belive he did it intentionally...........probably humbled him a bit....hopefully we can all get along moving forward
Hey Captain Obvious, they come from another country where our Center is spelled CENTRE- do you want them to perform a spell check every time they post? I wonder if dickhead is spelled the same in Oz and the UK?
I've watched Kendall in at least about 10 practices this summer...he is mailing it in mentally. Physically, he shows up and does what he is told to do, whether it is LG or C, first team or second. But as he said, he doesnt want to be there, and it shows, in a BIG way. He makes sure it shows. That's the bitchy, NE side of him. But, I would not be surprised if his physical mistakes (bad snaps) were more the result of not concentrating 100% and as i write this, I am less inclined to think he consciously tanked it. He's just not mentally focused.
While I don't think he intentionally botched the snap I would like to make two observations about Kendall... 1- On friday night he spent the entire game standing by himself, in a manner that seemed very intentional. Not once was he sitting /stand ing with the rest of his unit the way everybody else does. 2-Kendall has a history of being disruptive. Before we signed him he was cut very unexpectedly by Arizona. At the time he was considered a better than average guard and Arizona was a lousy team that shouldn't have let anyone with talent loose. If I remember correctly it was suspected that Kendall had been complaining to the league about Denny Green's offseason program
I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I don't care how it's spelled in their country. The NFL is an American league, where the position is spelled "center"...they should know that. Also, I don't really care about you calling me a dickhead, but if I would have said that to someone, someone would have jumped all over me for it.
