I wouldn't mind that either. I think maybe we're getting a little too sure of ourselves. Our guys need to see some film of themselves blowing coverages, missing tackles and screwing up on ST. Give Westhoff something to scream about on Sunday. How ironic would it be to have Brooksie have an absolutely stunning night in the Meadowlands like he had with his "comeback" against Philadelphia two years ago? I wish we had kept the guy, in fact, given the mediocre losers we seem to have preferred over him (Ramsey and Tui). He probably would have stayed, too, at a reasonable price, and have saved us the cost of the traded picks.
I really don't care what the final score is. Here are the only scores I need to see tonight: 1) Mike Nugent nailing 4-out-of-4 FGs, one of which is a 52-yarder. 2) Pennington, seemingly unstoppable, converting on 3rd downs, moving the chains at will and reaching the red zone on two sustained, mixed-pay drives, hooking up with, oh... I don't know, take your pick for one TD and one Nugent FG. 3) Kellen Clemens continuing to shine and having an unbelievable night with 3 TD's, one of which is an unbelievably deep pass to Chansi Stuckey again to prove the first one was no fluke. 4) Danny Ware, averaging 3.5 per carry for the night, one of which he takes in for a TD on a 5 yard run on 4th and goal. 5) Brad Smith finding a way to remain in the pocket long enough to actually resemble a real NFL quarterback, hitting Frisman Jackson and Chansi Stuckey before taking it into the end zone himself from the 15. 6) Manny Collins picks one off of Bollinger and takes it to the house. 7) The Defense looking gelled enough and determined enough to rush Bollinger and pressure him, forcing a 2-point safety with Harris pouncing on the ball. 8) Special Teams forcing two turnovers, one of which becomes a Mike Nugent FG moments later.
20-10 Jets Chad throws a pass. Clemens looks good again. Rhodes makes up for his craptacular preformance last week.
Revisions might be in order, I can see the stadium from my office, and it looks like the weather is turning Nasty.
