I normally avoid these little pissing matches as they really serve no useful purpose but for you to question others football knowledge is laughable. I would definately put you in the 14 out of 15 based on your posts that I have read. I have already posted about you wanting to draft Walter Thomas in the 4th round which you stated was based on reading others posts online. Is that what you deem football knowledge? Yes, there are players that go undrafted and make something of themselves but that is not the norm. The majority of undrafted free agents do not make it in the NFL. You have shown your propensity for picking names out of a hat and proclaiming them the next superstar. When the aforementioned players go nowhere, your football knowledge is questioned and thus your posts are looked upon with disdain. You then lash out with unwarranted attacks and futher alienate yourself. You can say that others know nothing of football but you are basing it on the fact that they don't agree with you. You on the other hand show how much you know just by posting.
I watched him. Besides the fact that he was going against our third guys I thought he did pretty well. He has good burst off the ball and gets into the backfield quickly. He is obviously big, strong and very difficult for one guy to handle. He is a fluid athlete, especially considering his size. Right now he looks like he may be a decent 4/3 DT. It is hard to predict how he would fair in a 3/4. I would call him fairly impressive for an undrafted free agent. If he got cut and we picked him up for depth/project it certainly would not be a bad thing.
Picking him up, if he got cut, as a project maybe. But there are many other players out there in that bracket. That being said, a project is a very far cry from a player we need to get as the OP suggested.
Wait wait the Jets need to raid a 3rd. string NT from the Falcons, am I missing something?????????????????????? Oh joy what next, sign the ballboy from the Vikings, hey you never know they may get the next Fitzgerald.
Agreed...thank you for saying what everyone else was thinking. However, your avatar kinda freaks me out.
and you claim to have football knowledge... laughable... the guy went undrafted for a reason.. and yeah they shut down the running game,... 74 yards in the second half... based on that we would have rushed for ruffly 158 yards for the game... I'll take it... I know I know immoveable object... FYI, those guys are few and far between... give it up already... you look silly.. including you
He is also FAR from an immovable object. He was stood up and driven back a number of times. He was also just plain pancaked at least twice. His technique is poor allowing him to get stood up and driven backwards by a guy that weighs at least 30 pounds less than him. When he was double teamed he was driven back 3-5 yards almost instantly.
1. not to stray to far off topic but, what ever happened to Walter Thomas? Just wondering. lot of hype for a backflipping G. 2. Not sure if he was at camp this year, but whatever happened to the other Samoan USC guy "Tui" something, he played DT/NT last year, hurt ankle in camp and think he was cut wk 1 or so. 3. how much football knowledge do you need to visit fan forums? how many college/pro coaches do we have registered on this site? 4. I like to hangout.
1) Back to boasting on his myspace page as to how "cool" it is to get high. Complete trash who didn't even last 2 hours in camp. 2) Read this morning that he was just picked up by the giants, they were looking to add bulk to the line. 3) You need a Football Knowledge Test Score of 119 or higher. We presently have 3 college coaches on this site- 17ATailgater is Charlie Weiss, Eyedea is Nick Saban and NYJUnc is Bobby Knight. 4) Be careful who you hang out with.
No....I'm not blaming D-Rob at all. He played & plays pretty consistently. Jets' just need more force at the point of attack.
