its a bunch of bullshit. they never talk about the jets. they give them no respect. for example, Revis signed yesterday day and this morning on espn there said "revis signs 6 year contract he and russell were the only unsigned first round picks left and then they move on. but when quinn fucking signed it was like the new Millennium to them.. they talked about quinn for like 10 minutes its so fucking gay

Yeah...it's true. They even had the video of Brady Quinn commenting on it; the arrogant bastard he is who charged people for his autograph. It happens during the year which is even more frustrating. It boils my blood when they cover what a team who used to be good instead of an up and coming team. Barely anyone gave us any credit last year until it was evident that we were making the playoffs. It's fucking bullshit. And Koz I love all JETS fans, but this is a football forum. Please don't tell me you're also the fan that turns around and looks at us after we yell a vulgar remark towards the field after something bad happens? It's part of the game. If it's because of the kids, it should be known that in a football stadium, language is free flowing and not for everyone.

I can understand your frustration, every Jets fan knows where you are coming from, I mean, we play in GIANTS stadium for starters. We have always been second fiddle it seems. I used to hate seeing the Giants always make the front page of the Star Ledger and then on page four or five, a little Jets article.

I have to agree. Who gives a crap about respect? The Jets will get all the attention they could ever want and then some when they finally win that Lombardi again. I prefer the underdog role. Gives the team the privacy it needs to focus on the game.
you don't think Brady Quin is moreof a household name than Darelle Revis??? High profile position, high profile college, drops big time in draft...of course it's more of a story!
Actually, you're wrong but you're also new so maybe you aren't aware as to the site rules. Petro tries to cut down on profanity in the post titles. etc.
We complain a lot that we don't get a lot of respect but look how many of the teams in the NFL that are just like us. Only the major teams, (Colts, Patriots, Steelers,) and teams like those are covered consistently by ESPN. You never see long segments on teams like the Browns, Cardinals, or Bills. ESPN covers closely the teams that they feel will garner the most attention with their audience.
