T-Bird and Jetcane, great reports all. If I could make camp tomorrow I'd be there in a heartbeat and try to meet up with you guys, especially since it sounds like Revis might possibly be there. But there's no way I can do it, so I (we all) have to rely on your observations.

Keep up the good stuff guys.....

good stuff guys, it's a good thing we have this information. I dunno what we do now to save space, on the roster, I think Tui is gone, and that gives us room for 6 WR and i thought that we would only keep 2 TE but i want to see Kowaleski make the team, so IMO are best option to keep all of those guys,at WR plus Kowaleski is to trade J-mac to anyone, most likely the titans. Brad Smith is qb 3 and WR 3, Stuckey is 4, Jackson is 5 and Wright is 6. so then we only have "2" qb's and 6 wrs giving us room for Kowaleski at TE

As always you do a great job T-Bird. Without yours and Kurt and Jetcanes and everyone else's insight this would have been a terrible training camp for getting updates. As always thanks for the updates they are very much appreciated!!

No kidding...all we get out of the beat writers is the same Kendall crap rehashed over and over again. I'm so sick of the daily Kendall articles by the same writers. Enough already!

The CS will have some very tough decisions this year, me thinks. Cut Tui and make B Smith the #3? But Smith got no reps at QB today... maybe tomorrow? We have too many WR's and DE-DE/OLB hybrids. Count em.... B Thomas, Ellis, Coleman, Hamilton, Kimo, Haynes, Wadsworth, Bowens, Adams, Trusnik. That doesn't include the other OLB's like Hobson and the excess of ILB's... Vilma, Kassel, Barton, Harris, Costanzo, Spencer, Schlegel... and then at NT/DT we have DRob, Pouha, Mosley, Hicks... these are good problems to have, cutting players that that can play in the NFL, but cuts this year will be tough to take.

Given all the recent movement and position changes on the O line, we probably need to keep an excess of O linemen as well. For one thing, we don't have a 2nd center... a brutal mistake Hermie made here. That has to get fixed, and could be the reason they make Kendall stay, unless Villano shows he can get the job done... it's clear Wade Smith can't play center.

    Thanks for more great reports.

I agree with the cutting of Dwight. He was a good "fill the gap" type of guy for depth. But now with all these young guys ready to step up, I can see him being cut.

Looking forward to the arrival of Revis.

With Chad's injury history why do you people believe that Tui can be gone?

We went through 5 quarterbacks two years ago if you guys don't remember...

And I have one more question....

Has anyone seen the Jets practice the multi-lateral game ending miracle play like at the end of the Colts game last year?

I would pay to see that, lol.

I think Joe Ko only really had a shot as the #2 TE, because the #3 TE is most likely going to be Dearth, simply for his long snapping capabilities. So most likely the 3 TEs we will carry will be Baker, Ryan, and Dearth.

They did run one really goofy trick play yesterday... I was at the other field, so my view wasn't great, but it looked like a double reverse that ended with an incomplete pass, but I couldn't make out who threw it.

I think it was Cotch who threw it.

i think this CS puts in some wrinkles just to make it a little more fun for the players. I saw them do some stuff in tc last year that they never ran in the regular season.

Question on Brad Smith as #3 QB....aren't there special rules for the #3 qb? Like he doesn't count against the roster for that game day, but if he plays, then the #1 QB can't come back into the game? Then the rules change again in the 4th qtr? Will these screwey rules keep use from tagging Brad as the #3 qb?

He's inactive at the start of the game, but the team is allowed to activate him in the fourth quarter no matter what, or in the case of an injury, where the other two quarterbacks are unable to play.

The special rule here would I guess have Kellen Clemens as the third QB (officially) to save a roster spot, and Smith as the backup, so if Penny get's hurt Clemens can come in and play.
