The Jets wont draft a QB they will wait next year for Brady Quinn. Jones is just as good at LT as he is at RT. Martin is the man said he read some were that Jones will try to weigh 310 at the begining of camp. He may be able to do it he may not. I execpt him to weigh around 304,305,306 and he has a lot of strengh already but that weight would help him. He would be and if Jones sucked at RT the jets wouldnt have picked him up. and the Jets would pick up D brick for the LT to fill in for Jones. Then the Jets would have their whole OL. it would be D'Brick,Kendall,Missant,Moore,Jones. This is just what i think.

They may be our starting tackles next season, but no team is going to wait around for a paticular guy in the following year's draft. Thats crazy.

no way should we pick a LT with our #4 pick.. we do not have the money do do that and do not have the offensive playmakers either.. do the patriots or steelers have any top level offensive linemen?? no, they have a good cohesive line.. we should trade down and pick up vernon davis and deangelo williams with the pick that we get for abraham.. then we should use our 2nd and the 2nd we aquire for trading down on offensive linemen.. no way should we pick a LT who isnt an offensive playmaker at #4...

    Ok thanks for the mention.

I feel that the Jets will draft D Brick if he's there, but the problem now becomes is that he may not be there (Saints are looking at him), if he isn't I say we draft A.J. Hawk and McNeil to play RT. I think Jones can play either side, YES he is probably better at Left tackle but he can play right.

  6. Jones and Ferguson at OT's is a very bad idea. Bull rushers will have an absolute field day.

Well if Missant doesnt start witch he sould cause he only gave up 2 sacks in his whole college career or in one year Idk.then it would be the guy from San Fran who would start.

Theres no way we pick Davis or Williams. Could be D'Brick at 4 and Mangold with Atlanta's pick. Or Hawk at 4 and McNeil with Atlanta's pick. If we don't get Atlanta's pick at say we take best available player at 31.

ny2dave i agree there is no WAY we would take davis or williams that would put us over the cap. I say we take D'BRick at 4 and either Croyle or a Offensive lineman with the pick from atlanta but we have good Centers and we i wouldnt think we would take mangold and McNeil isnt making it passed Tampa so like i said we would have are OL set with D'Brick,Kendall,Missant or the guy from San Fran, moore,Jones that is my opinion

Norm Katnik.... yes, Norm Katnik will be our starting center, not Missant.

We''l take a QB at 4, and a RT with the next pick.

Who is Norm Katnik you ask? Say pretty please, and I'll tell ya!

OR we could trade down from #4 to #9 possibly, so then we hypothetically could have #9 & #15 in the first round, and ours & Detroits in the second round.

#9- Vernon Davis/Jay Cutler (whichever is available)
#15- Best O-Lineman available (Mangold, Justice, Winston, etc...)
    #36- Best O-Lineman available
#41- Best Player Available (RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, etc)

Not a chance in hell. Jones SUCKS at RT, that was obvious this season. After he moved, he exceled, and will only improve at LT. Leave him there and draft an RT in the later rounds, D'Brick would be a waste of a pick for the jets.

williams and davis would put us over the cap being the 9th pick and 15th pick.. and then ferguson wont put us over the cap at the 4th pick?? use some common sense man.. even if its a little more expensive, we would be getting 2 players instead of one and these would be two offensive weapons, not just an olineman.. ur idea is retarded man.. god it just so dumb to think we we would draft an offensive lineman with a pick #4 that we need to use to get a playmaker or that is valuable enough to trade down and get playmakers..

We have TEs and RBs. We need to address other areas.

So you're saying Missant should start because of his "college career"? Interesting, to say the least. If nobody is brought in to play C, then Norm Katnik will be the starter. NYJ brass apparently is very intrigued by him, and are willing to give him a shot.
