Honestly, it's for the best. I'd much rather be under the radar than in the limelight like most teams.
Well put DW. I honestly do respect and value Champs views , and yes he does get a bad rap. But its tiring to constantly keep getting knocked down. Back on topic. If we can match last years success , I would be more than happy , but its going to be a tough ask. But the offseason moves that we have made are all positive. We have paid a price as far as the amount of draft picks are concerned , but I see this as a bit of Herms legacy still hanging around , and to keep the momentum going it was necessary to snag 2 potential starters in Harris and Revis. What we are looking for now is to build on last years success , and I see nothing to make me think that we won't be at least, 'as good'.
Yes thanks for the blah-blah-blah but U still didnot reply to the question as to why whenever somebody post something that more/less has my views why do you think it is me posting under another user name?
Yes & thanks 4 the blah-blah-blah but U still have not replied to the question as to why whenever somebody else posts something that follows more/less along my views you accuse them of being me under another user name?
Well then U ought to read up on people & you will find that not everybody thinks the same way. Maybe a course in Psyc 1 will improve your understanding of such a simple thing as people having differents views on the same subject
OK Champ. I fully understand you , point taken. This is a forum where accent and sarcasm go over heads , let alone sense of humour from different parts of the globe. Like I said before , I appreciate your views as much as any one elses , its what keeps this place interesting.
OK & thanks. Maybe U should get on the list for the upcoming DVD about the NYJs history from the getgo & maybe then U can better understand old timers like me who have been fans since the 60s. Also U have no need to worry since if we had SB quality players NOW I would be just or more excited about it as U. However, sorry to say my assessment of the 07 & future NYJs thru 2010 at the earliest is that we will continue wallowing along as middle of the pack team sorry to say. That is why I made the wager offer to Koz who never replied to it.
Hands up time. I've been a fan since 1984 and seriously from 1986ish so I have 20 years of BS less than you. I will get the dvd and relish it , warts and all. I do understand more than you realise , especially about how slowly things seem to move. I also support my local soccer team which hasn't won anything for about the same amount of time as the Jets. Managers/Coaches come and go and promise the earth , but don't deliver and yet the fans remain , loyal and unwaivering , still spending their gard earned $$$. So things aren't too different. This forum and every other does not respect age or experience and I bow to your long standing support , had the internet and my interst in football been sooner I too would have had tpo endure a bit more of the same. 2010. I'm hopefull that we will be there some time sooner. I think LIKE NE the team that is being built isn't going to be full of superstars , rather just hard working team players who share a common belief. Anyone who still supports any franchise after 30+ years of support and nothing to show earns mucho kudos , I'll still take the piss though
The team is really coming together. Thomas Jones and Leon Washington will open up the passing game a lot more for Pennington than any of the RB combos they used last year, I think the offense got a lot better.
