Cubs have a day game on Friday. As difficult as it will be to play tomorrow with little sleep, it would be even worse to have to fly back to chicago late tomorrow night and be ready for a big Sox/Cubs series Friday afternoon

And the Mets care about this why? That sounds like a Cubs problem, and the Mets are the home team.

It seems pretty obvious to me that both the Mets and Cubs are in the clubhouse watching who gets voted off American Idol. They'll play once Blake gets his beat-boxing ass sent home

The fans are going to have, I guess we'll call it, a 7th inning nap at around 12:45am

hamels walks weeks to end the perfect game but he's still got the no hitter going in the 7th

edit: and hardy ends the no hitter and the shutout. that guy is having an insane year

Hardy is unreal. Everytime I look at the box score, he's doing something.

It'll be interesting to see how the Mets do against Hill tonight, they've been killing lefties and he's been one of the best young pitchers in the league since last yaer.

Pretty shocking Sosa has been as good as he's been, I was way off base on that acquisition.
