I appreciate your sentiment but anybody who saw baseball as something prestine before Bonds (or anytime in it's history for that matter) is just kidding themselves. Bonds fits right into Cooperstown in more ways then one.

Anyone watching the pregame? The "team" decided to shave their heads, but some, obviously, decided not to comply. Reyes did not but Wright, Maine and Sean Green have done so. Can't wait to see what Green looks like...evidently he's not happy with the end result.

So Green is going to look even more like a cancer patient...

Holy shit, 3 straight doubles! The shaved heads did something to wake these guys up.

Can someone tell me a online radio beside mlb-radio where they really broadcast the Mets games live?

Because all I can hear on WFAN is Mike and the Mad Dog

Did they say what the motivation was to cut their hair? Seems kind of odd this early in the season, when the team is going pretty well. As Keith noted, for Maine to "change his luck" by shaving his head is very surprising!

what's with the annoying announcer when bonds comes to bat? it's pathetic to hear people cater to this scumbag like he's actually done anything

Big moment here with Reyes up with the bases loaded and two outs. Cain has looked very shaky this inning, so it would be very nice for Jose to make him pay right now.

He's hit 745 homeruns, stolen over 500 bases, and won multiple gold gloves.

He's a scumbag, but that comment is just silly.
