I'd like to see Sheldon Canley and Sherriden May get another shot.

hahahaha... he has the heart of a champion, i knew it, men like him are made to win....

your heart never lies brothers, he is a spartan, curtis martin-thomas jones unbelievable tandem.

if he is fully recovered or atleast 90% we have a superbowl in our hands, you saw it here first. roger motherfin blaze.

but if he desires to retire, we might not see a superbowl, in 4 years.

    trust.

im a maniac when it comes to predictions.

if you dont believe me, then your a rookie.

i have typed many a thing in the past and it has come to fruition, you just havent read it yet.

it is cinco de mayo and i have been drinking jack and coke, but trust, curtis martin has lived a life, like or as close to mine as many has and our heart will never waver.

we are leaders, and that will never die.

all curtis can do is help the situation, of winning a superbowl.

if you dont believe your a fool, and will never understand the heart of a warrior.

i love you curtis, you can do it. doctors have been wrong frequently, because nobody is perfect,

There's a very real possibility that Curtis is the 3rd best running back on our team right now-- that is the sad reality. Other than sentimental reasons, I don't know why he would ever see the field over Thomas Jones or Leon.

Curtis has been a totem for theJets in many years. One of the greatest RBs the game will ever see.

I would love to see him in Green stepping out on the field one more time. However I want the memories of him playing hard and strong and don't want to see him not perform.

When he's ready to go let's retire #28

We love you, You have given your all.

When Canton comes calling I'll be there.

maybe Terry Boobway will come back as GM and sign Martin and Chrebet to another insane long, long term contract like he gave them in 2002 when they were both pushing 30

I like his enthusiasm, but there is no place for him in NY now. With Jones/Washington, I don't see where curtis would ever get carries, and he would probably hurt the team more than help it.

I think it's sorta like, if you've worked out every spring for the last 15 years, and were proud of keeping a good, solid body...

And the New York Jets had a world class facility you can use, with trainers on site, and friends you know hanging out there...

Wouldn't you be there, working out, enjoying your free time?

No, and personally I hope he doesn't come back, he has no place for him now. I would however like him to come back as a RB coach.

We'd all love to see Curtis play again, however, it just wouldn't be right. I love his determination he is showing to making a comeback, however, I feel that he should retire and leave his great legacy behind.

He should get a job in the Jets F.O. though, that's for sure.

He has stipulated time and again that if he does not play he wants to walk away from the game for good. I guess there are players and spectators , and hes not the latter.
People do change their minds though.

It would be soo Curtis Martin of him to have 90% of his biggest fans say he's done and he comes back.

yeah, he managed one full season out of the 8 year $50M contract at age 30--that's good management!

I for one don't want to see C Mart, a bonified HOF already, to go out like Emmit Smith did. Those days in Arizona are not the dominant back I remember. Same with Michael Jordan. Who thinks of those last few Wizards days? I hope he retires as a Jet. I know he's not going anywhere, just don't want to see a back that is a former ghost of himself. That being said, he still might be able to contribute in a part time basis w/ Anthony Thomas and Leon Washington.

if he does comeback, we are that much closer to a superbowl.
