Absolutely. Cotchery and especially Smith have a lot to learn and Keyshawn has had a very successful career.

I can't imagine what Fox was thinking if he heard Keyshawn at the draft talking about how excited he was to teach Jarrett.

(dear god, i hope he doesn't go to the Pats.)

None except the team doctor won't let you play with a concussion.

We have as much of a chance as any other team that would have him now.

My first reaction was bringing him back would be a copy cat move of NE. But he makes the receiving cor more dangerous so do it.

I believe the Jets will win SD. Then we can put Mangini's face on Mt Rushmore and go party at Sturgis

His big mouth is the last thing that I would want. I think Baker could take him in the 40 with no problem.

Perhaps you may have a point but why did the Cowboys under Parcells give him the boot? Perhaps Me-shawn may have out-lived with usefulness down there just as he may have out-lived his usefulness with the Panthers.

Let's put it this way, why would the Panthers pay a player his $3 million roster bonus then cut him a month and a half later? Why would a team choose an unproven rookie over a veteran who has just been paid a huge sum as a roster bonus if the team doesn't think its better over-all to discharge the veteran then and there?

Nostalgia aside, J Mac (IMO) represents a better option for us in 2007.

He would add that extra threat, that teams will have to pay attention to more then Jmac would...

Good point, it also gives Smith another year to develop although I'd love to see more of him. Judging from his comments during the draft teaching young receivers is something he's very interested in.

We're one of 12 teams that made the playoffs, there are 20 that didn't. Why not us?

Well, that was my point about the bonus too. Like I said, he may have asked out. Other then that I think Dallas got rid of him because of his contract. That's why I laugh when people complain about these "huge" contracts NE, SF and Denver sign ppeople to. They never see that money. They are backloaded and when the time comes to actually pay these guys big bucks they either get cut or forced to restructure. They never actually get paid these numbers you hear.
