I saw this in another thread yesterday. The guy looks amazingly fast...not to mention kinda fun with all that hair. Reminds me of the old wrestler from the early 70's Pampero Firpo!

the reason he wasnt drafted is

    1 he is 26
    2. he is more of a bigger hitter tweener between ss and weak side lb

Dont get me wrong i love how the kid plays but dont expect him to start, for one he only weighs 210 lbs, and 2 he plays strong safety, scouts say he doesnt have the speed for a fs.

He'll make the team, I can't see Paul Hackett keeping Cody Spencer as his Special Teams guy, over Peters, if Peters stays healthy.

Peters seems like a very physical guy.
We can use him on special teams.

Couldn't be becuase of the jersey #?:breakdance:

I see him as a good special teams guy. He wraps up the ball carrier pretty well which I like.

AHHHH! Please never repeat that name again. This guy looks like he could be a great special teamer for us. I'm definitely going to be rooting for him during training camp. Hopefully he plays well enough to make the team. He seems like a real humble guy and positive locker room presence.

    Holy crap!!!

I just watched the first You Tube video and the guy is a ferocious hitter.

You can tell the difference between guys who tackle and guys who tackle, wanting to break your skull- he's the latter. On the field with reckless abandon and looks like he has some speed to boot.

At the very least, I hope that if he proves himself through camp and pre season that he's able to stay on the team, at least in a special teams role.

I for one would love to see him bombing down the field on special teams with that monstrous mane.

The guy looks like an animal on the field. The way he plays though doesn't give himself much of a shelf life in the NFL. Judging from the video and what has been said, the guy seems to good to have gone undrafted. Why did he then?

Someone mentioned age and injuries as factors:

If he somehow lands on the team, can he do his fire show at halftime for all home games?

I have nothing but love for over-achieving head hunters who play with reckless abandon. I will definitely be cheering for this dude to make the team.

This spot has already been reserved for Walter Thomas' cartwheel act.

Disclaimer: the guy definitely needs to polish up a lot of his game. hopefully, the coaching staff can teach him.

the good thing about this regime is, even if Peters initally stays only to play Special Teams, there's a chance he can contribute on Defense, or even get the nod to start any given week. we've seen Mangini start Drew Coleman and play Rashad Washington; there's no reason to believe he won't give Peters a chance if he proves worthy.

wouldn't you just love to see him come off the edge, licking his chops at Brady?

    cheers

Don't get too excited about the great hits, animal-like hair and speed.

He will be a special teamer, but no way he sees a lot of time at SS.

He is an arm tackler of the highest order when he doesn't deliver the knockout blow, and we already have one of those (Justin Miller) in the defensive backfield.
