as draft day approaches, I would like to write my annual, "Jet Fans, don't embarrass the rest of us," at this draft post. None of the Jet construction helmets with the Jet plane on them, looking all ridiculous. None of the "who" looks on the face when the Jets announce their picks. Last year was much better then the past, not the usual nonsense that happenned in the past. Make the Jets draft picks feel welcome, instead of overreacting like the world is gonna end.

But it is gonna end according to many a soul on this board if we don't trade Vilma, Barton, McCariens and Barrett for 3 first round picks and then draft 5 future hall of famers IN THIS DRAFT!!!

Awful. And they kept showing some guy in the front yelling "who?" all ridiculously. Then the guy makes the Pro Bowl.

I love all my Jets brothers, but who the hell are you to tell people what they should do when they represent the Jets .Are you one of those people that covers their face or turns away when you see something embarrassing. Does it make you feel uncomfortable when you see gaga fan going crazy. I am one of those crazy fans that would make an utter ass of myself and not really care what anyone thinks. I suggest you do the same.

They say the draft is the second biggest day of the year in the NFL. Only surpassed by the superbowl. I would think at some point they will decide to rotae it around to other NFL cities. At that point it won't matter what Jet fans do so enjoy yourselves while you can.

Get the heck outta here. Years and years of alot of these Jet fans acting like jerkoffs on tv is enough. All it is, is a poor reflection on the franchise when their fans look and act ridiculous. Nothing wrong with being excited, that's what it's about, but many of these Jet fans look like goofballs.

Ya, seriously. I wouldn't do it myself, but I'm not going to tell someone else not to be an idiot.

It should stay in New York City. No team plays there and the league's headquarters are in NYC.

You know, I seem to remember this thread from last year, and everyone had the same reaction, that it was "dumb" and not needed.

Let Jets fans behave as they like. Jets fans are not out to win any stars for "poise" or "manners."

If a guy wants to show up for the draft with a 747 sticking out of his ass, it's his right as a Jets fan to do so.

Here's to hoping that every Jets fan who shows up for the draft is wearing a construction helmet with a Jets logo on it, just to piss you off....

Did you ever think that, maybe, some people put on a show just to GET on TV??? Think about it, why does everybody go nuts when they point a camera up in the stands at ANY sporting event? And what about the producers at ESPN? Do they HAVE to show every person that makes himself look like an Idiot? Lets face it, it's SHOW Business and Bigger is Better on the small screen. The ones they show are a small minority of all the Jets Fans present but lo and behold, who gets the most airtime? As for moving where the draft is held, then we'd mostly get Idiots from the other (Home) teams filling up the seats and being rammed down our throats by the producers at ESPN. My opinion is "If they are enjoying themselves and not hurting anybody, God Bless Them!!!" If you REALLY cannot stand to watch them, then Don't. The Draft is broadcast on the radio so you don't have to look at Mel's Helmet head.

A little advice... maybe you should consider not defining yourself by the actions of others. People are there to have fun and participate.
