Plan on waking up at 10, picking up a 30 of CL's and ordering chinese. Ill probably get a vat of wings at the end of round 2.

Got a friend who is a huge Lions friend coming over and another couple friends who are Seahawks fans. Gonna periodically check here and will watch the game on ESPN with some pizza and wings:beer:
Going up to Ireland's 32. Frank Peccarro coordinated a huge draft party up there (prizes/bbq/etc...). Going to be a ton of Jets fans. I'm bringing my lady and my friend Condom whose a huge Packers fan....Gonna be good times
I'm not as into it this year as in years past. Probably watch the first couple of picks, and then do something else until it's our pick.
GH and I were just corresponding and realized that alot of people have strange draft "food traditions". Every year i hafta have one of those 3 liter bottles of Adirondack fruit punch which I end up finishing around pick # 28.... I also get pizza delivered from the same place, the delivery guy is always the same, he's a jets fan, and we always touch base upon delivery which is usual sometime around pick #40.
I have to Friggin work! I'm hoping to be done by around 4:00 when is around when the JETS should pick. I doubt I'll be home in time for it. Probably hear the pick on WFAN on the way home and watch the rest of the day 1 action once I get home. I'm guessin a pizza delivery...a REALLY FREAKIN BIG PIZZA delivery!
Just make sure you pull over to the side of the road when thy pick. If we have any Roger Vick/Johnnie Lam Jones type disasters, you wouldn't wanna veer into oncoming traffic. Hey, I'm an insurance adjuster, i worry about these things:up:
La Mexicana, this restaurant in town, makes this insane version of a cuban sandwich. My wife describes it as a steak, a ham and a chicken cutlet on a roll. It also has guacamole and habaneero peppers. They are the best things I've ever had and I'm a huge sandwich fan, so I know of what i speak. Gonna get two. Gonna get some Rogue shakespeare stout, some Geary's, some glazed cake donuts and plop myself down.
Do any of the JETS players sponsor a Draft party attended by the public? Vince Wilfork is having a fundraiser for the Diabetes Association from 12noon to 6:00pm that Saturday. He's bringing a few 'friends' from the Patriots with him. It does cost but it's all tax deductable. I'll be there watching the draft and associating with some current NE Patriots players. Many other fans will be at Gillette Stadium for the draft. NE Patriots - doing it right - for their fans/with their fans.
The Jets throw a few draft parties that are attended my some players. More info on the homesite http://www.newyorkjets.com/draft/events As for me, I'll be having about 50 people at my house partying down. Sure, it's a birthday/communion party for my son but all my Jet homies will be there watching closely....
Yes, there's plenty of Jets players at draft parties in NY especially Long Island. That party at Dave and Busters usually has several Jets players in attendance as does ESPN zone in Manhatten. This is the norm for just about every NFL team not just the patriots. Actually, by reading some of the planned meals on draft day by some Jets fans above, Wilfork's diabetes fundraiser may come in handy closer to home than thought......
