    Titans | V. Young lands Madden '08 cover
    Published Mon Apr 16 11:29:00 p.m. ET 2007

    (KFFL) Terry McCormick, of the Nashville City Paper, reports Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young will appear on the cover of EA Sports Madden 2008 video game. A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed Young would be on the cover. An official announcement is expected Tuesday, April 17.

    On "Around the Horn" today, the host made a valid point. He said perhaps because Young is a young player [no pun intended] in the league, that he is on the rise, so maybe the "Madden Curse" won't effect him.

    Honestly, if he is effected, then I don't see how people can't be the least spooked out. Maybe EA Sports pays the cover boys...

    I hate Around the Horn. If one of those guys said the curse won't affect Young, that just means it's more likely the curse will get him.

    Thankfully, the Jets play the Titans late in the season. Bring on Kerry Collins!

    I felt that with Alexander last year. He never gets hurt, but he got the worst of it.

    Vince is a running QB, so he may get nailed and badly hurt at some point this year.

    Vick was a young player when he was on the cover, and he fell victim to the curse, seriously ATH has gone down notches after Max left

    the curse is bogus...football is so phsyical a sport that players are bound to be hurt, especially star players who will play more than others...test the theory by putting redneck manning or favre on it...the streak vs the curse!! who will win?!?!?!?
