We have lost too many good mods and I think Dino was one of them. I never had a problem w/ him and thought he was a good mod.
i was just writing out my response to the PM you sent me, but since you now brought this onto the board, i'll post my response here. Your PM to me: my response:
I guess you guys are talking about when I "campaigned" for myself...im not sure I understand the big deal, but if that prevents me from becoming a Mod again then thats fine.
Just for the record. If there is any decision to make someone a mod, it will not be a public vote. The last time that happened it was a big fiasco. We appreciate the interest, but if any action is taken it will happen behind the scenes. Dino is a great guy. We all hope he continues to post here.
Remember those who always supported you  Speaking of which, whatever happened to Jetophile. Why'd she leave?
Penny, you just can't win around here. I appreciate you as a poster - I disagreed with some of your decisions as a Moderator, but offering your services has become a "bad thing?" DWalsh, I used to post these types of things, but I was told that PM is more appropriate.
I'd be fine w/ GG as a mod, I miss the old GG when we used to get into it back when the board was very young but since he isn't on as much and dosn't get into it as much I think he'd be a good mod.
Yikes! I doubt that I'm around enough to be able to do the job, but thanks for the good wishes anyway. First Roger includes me in a shout out, and now this ... I just don't know what to say ... This is the proudest day of my life ... I never had any real dealings with Dino, so I can't say anything about what was behind this. I hope that he was given the opportunity to resign, rather than be "fired," since I can understand the reluctance to keep posting here after the "demotion." If he refused to resign, of course, then there's nothing more to say. Is there any thought to reaching out to former posters who might have left on account of the unprofessional behavior that was referred to, I wonder?
Thank you NYJUNC - with Herm gone I'm less hot headed and more Fan-atic! I'd rather be on the same team anyway...
I still miss the old, old days when you, I and Jabba would get into it. I think your dad used to get into to, I think he still hates me:grin:
No, LV Coach doesn't hate anyone on here from the old crew. We were just in SD together. He's spending less time on here on more betting College Football. Yes, I miss some of that too - more young guys on here now...
Tony, I can't pm until my post count is higher, it appears. I'm on Beechwood, between Bay and DeWitt. Me and my nephews go up to TC Hooligans to watch games that aren't on locally during the season, maybe we'll see you up there.
