This is just incomprehensible to me. I'm sure Bledsoe has lots of money but why would he not make at least hundreds of thousands of dollars (more probably, millions) to sit on the bench? Yeah, he'd have to work in training camp and practices. Big deal. It's easy money. Is his ego that big?

Mistake. I doubt this is the last we will see of Drew.

    I personally will miss him.

I always loved it when the Jets played against him because he is good for at least 2-3 sacks...thats on a good day.

One of the most overrated players of his generation. He had 2-3 good years but was never great and he is treated like he was a great QB.

That reminded me of something. If Manning had come out a year early he would have been ours but he wanted to return to Tennessee for his senior year. I remember Parcells saying at the time, "of course I would take him if he comes out".

He's got 4 kids and wants to spend time with his family. What a prick.

Farewell Drew, and may many Burgers await you.

Well, I never liked him much either but to say he was overrated when he made all pro 4 times means you are saying nobody in the nfl knows what the hell they are doing.

He made 4 pro Bowls not all-pro 4 times. That's a BIG difference and 2 of his Pbs he didn't deserve to go. In 2002 he had a great start but was brutal down the stretch and he made it over Chad even though Chad led his team to a div title and led the NFL in passing and in 1994 he threw 27 INTs and made the PB.

Well, it's a difference but not that big at all.

It's a HUGE difference, in '06 86 players were considered pro Bowl players but only 27 players make All-Pro. Also 1 QB makes 1st team all-rpo while in '06 8 QBs made the PB. IT is a colossal difference.

They usually get the AP teams correct, they rarely get the PB teams correct.

Do they dismantle him now, and put him back in his various graves?
