Adjacent to the campus building are three natural turf fields and an additional artificial turf field, as well as parking, stormwater retention, and an equipment shed for the field maintenance equipment. During the next phase of the project, Hunter Roberts Construction Group will be providing construction management services. COMPLETION DATE June, 2008
Thanks for the image. I live about 8 miles from there. I am so fired up to have the Jets so close. My family will be regular fixtures at this facility.
I'm actually going to be working on this site for my company with the Jets. I'm looking forward to it.
Thank you Woody Johnson. We're getting a real practice facility, and a real stadium and that has to be commended.
They're going to integrate the NY symbol if i kills 'em. That training facility is pretty sweet, though.
There is like 10 Golf courses around that area, so theres always something for the executives to do as a hobby.
I live about 10 minutes from Florham Park aswell. Im pretty psyched although the town that i live in happened to be one of the other finalists, so i was a little upset when it didnt get picked.
There are no seats for the fans to watch the practices Come back to hofstra---seems like jets will be at hofstra one more season
Well it said it is scheduled for completion June 08 which if it stays on schedule means this is the last year at Hofstra
That is just a conceptual drawing provided by one of the pre-construction groups. There are others on their website (I don't think the original post had the link, I'll dig it up), but I believe these are all quite dated anyway..... http://www.hunterrobertscg.com/projects.php?segment_id=8&id=49&image_id=358
its rlly nice... but im kind of dissapointed it's not in NY... i use to be able to just leave my house and get like a cheap cab to the facility without my parents knowing and even if they did they wouldnt care. But going out of state is a little much for me.
On occasion. To fix them up and store them from bad weather . It looks like its going to be the envy of the NFL for awhile.... To bad they couldn't get an onsite location at the Meadowlands, but it's probably more convenient for the players where it's at upon completion .
