http://www.nfl.com/schedules/preseason/2007 Week 1 (Aug 9-13) vs. Atlanta Week 2 Aug 17 vs. Vikings on FOX at 8 Week 3 (Aug 23-27) at Giants Week 4 (Aug 31-Sept 2) at Philly
No...I'm saying that its interesting that the league would do that. Usually, it seems that you play teams in the preseason who you do not also play in the regular season that same year.. Since we will play both the Giants and Eagles in the regular season this year.. its very interesting that we get to see them in the preseason as well.. especially as the final two games where the starters may get more playing time. It could be a good or a bad thing.
We play giants(week 3) and eagles(week 4) every year. Week 3 you play your starters into 3rd quarter. Week 4 you play no starters of very few
Hahaha.. yea im an idiot.. how that slipped my mind is beyond me.. Excuse my absent-mindedness... its been a long day at work..
Preseason is done a lot based on contracts by the teams. Notice how the Jets play the Giants and Philly every year? They also have been playing Minnesota a lot lately. Atlanta is the new one.
The '01 game vs Atlanta was Herm's debut as HC......the 99 Minnesota game was when Chrebret broke his foot - a premonition of things to come the following week vs NE.......
I'll be at the Giants game. Best friend is a Giants fan and we go every year for his birthday. Gonna try to go to the Atlanta game also, i have a friend who is die hard Falcons. Why is this person my friend? Good question.
I love how there is pretty much no travel for the players at all...three games at Giants Stadium and a game in Philly.
That's how it works out for the Jets in odd years - and the Giants in even years. Having the Giants and Eagles as pre-season partners is beneficial to all three teams.....
