Talking Jets today, just beaming about the Jets signings this off-season. Francesa constantly saying how good the Jets are gonna be and how they have the right people in the right positions as far as Head Coach and General Manager. Both saying how they are really putting together a big time team.

Russo was a Packers fan as a youth. He no longer has a favorite team.

Francesa? I don't know if he was really a Giants fan. Maybe he was at one time, then he just pulled for whoever was being coached by The T-t Man.

I would be more impressed if they had stated that opinion LAST year. After Tangini turns things around and they win 10 games, the bandwagon is ready for boarding...no surprise these two schmucks wanna get on.

Francesa likes Mangini a lot, and is friends with Tannenbaum, so he's become a Jets fan pretty much.

Francesa was one of the first in the media to say he thought Mangini was going to be one of the great ones.

Yeah? If you say so, I'll take your word for it.

To be honest, I don't listen to those two much...they're just too obnoxious--each in his own special way!

I don't know how anyone could really question Francesas's football knowledge. He knows his shit. I know some people say he is arrogant, and that may be true, but when it comes to football he knows what he's talking about.

Russo is kind of a moron, but he's there for his personality more than his knowledge. I can see why people find him annoying though.

This is true. He jumped on Mangini's bandwagon as early as August when he visited Hofstra for that annual season preview.

When Bob Wichusen came on last summer and said the Jets could be 9-7, Fatsecsa laughed at him. If you say we are going to be good, do it before we become good, not after, when everyone else jumps on.

They will be the first to stab Mangini in the back if we perform below expectations.

Mike is one of the most knowledgable people regarding sports in the country (notice I said sports-not hockey). He basically runs the whole station.

I find it funny that everyone disses them, however, still listens to them as their ratings are always up there.

As much as they drive me crazy sometimes-Dog always dissin the Mets (altho he makes up for it with his Yankee hatred), them ripping apart Isaiah, it is still one hell of an entertaining show.

Eventhough Mike is a hardcore Yankee fan, he is fair with his comments and not so much of a homer, ala Michael Kay.

Fatso and Fruitloops actually said something positive about the NYJ?! I am shocked...it was probably because the Patsies did not enter the conversation...

Yeah, even though Francesa likes Mangini and is friends with Tannenbaum, and absolutely hates Belichick.

No way?! A NY sports personality "likes" Mangini, is "friends" with Tannenbaum and "hates" a Boston/rival coach? Get out!
