The signing of Kimo now gives the Jets a grand total of one, count 'em one player on the entire defenisve side of the ball over the age of 30. Includes backups, starters and speical teamers. For those whose favorite subject wasn't math, even if we were to sign McGinest and a guy like Sam Adams to play NT, that would bring the number up to a paltry 3. Just keep that in mind when you're tempted to say we're suppossed to be rebuilding but signing older players.

I don't see a problem with Kimo coming in but I don't want McGinest or any other old hags on this line because this is restructuring and we're probably not looking at immediate success. All I can say is draft smart.

If Im not mistaken, but was Josh Evans 30 when he came to us? And to me if it wasnt for the injuries he would have been very productive for us. I think he first year in green he had 6 1\2 sacks.
