Personally, I don't think it would be a bad idea to pick him up again. He is a good, EXPLOSIVE reciever that we have really lacked ever since he left. I hope we make some move to acquire him.

Keyshawn Johnson is certainly not exsplosive...he is a possesion receiver all the way.

And one HELL of a blocker.

The problem is this, we get him, we in essence slow down Cotchery's development.

I wouldn't mind (being that this IS a rebuilding year) giving JMac one more chance. You never know, maybe Mangini will help him pull his giant head out of his ass and we'll see him come down with some catchable balls. If he starts off slow, we can make Jericho the #2 (see what HE can do), and throw J-mac in the slot. If worse comes to worse, and neither guy gets the job done, we can always address WR after the season.

This is the ideal time to see just what type of reciever we've got in Jericho. Mangini will not hold him back (like Herm no doubt would).

Keyshawn is a beast blocker for sure. Probably one of the best in the NFL as far as WR's go.

If Parcells doesn't want him anymore and he LOVES Keyshawn why the FU## would we want him. NOWAY does he end up here. Tangini would never sign him.

I think it's more of a matter of Jerry Jones wanting TO than Parcells not wanting Keyshawn. These two guys in the same locker room would be an absolute HORROR show.

If the Cowboys lose out on Owens, they'll probably resign Johnson.

The first brawl in the locker room after the first practice. They could make money with those fights. Just give both of them an entrance music and let them do every halftime show by fighting each other. And after every catch of one of thwem, the other one would come to the field with a microphone and challenge the other. Just like the WWE. They would sell out every seat the next year:rofl2:

A possession receiver, like Wayne Chrebet? Wouldn't it be ironic if the Jets landed Keyshawn to replace Chrebt. Let me take that back. No one will ever replace Chrebet. But Key could play, in place of the missing Chrebet. I'd like it.

I would draft a speedy WR, though this is not a good year for WR's in free agency or the draft. I'm not too confident in our receving corps. Coles is fine, Cotchery is unknown, and McCareins is a good possession receiver and that's about it.

i think cotchery is good enough to be a #2 receiver and sorely needs more playing time.

i really think people forget about cotchery (EXCEPT I SAW EVIL CLOWN FACE MAKE THIS SAME POINT)

an keyshawn definitely would not enjoy us in our rebuilding phase.

And I heard Keyshawn on Quite Frankly. I could tell by the way he talked about the Jets he doesn't think much of Coles or McCareins.

And remembuh. It's mii howse. But you welcome anytiime.

I don't know if I would like to have him on the team again, first of all we don't have a defined starting quarterback yet, so who is going to throw the ball to him and he will want the quarterback to throw the ball to him a lot, "Just throw me the damn ball". He was one of my favorite players but his attitude is not a good one for a rebuilding team.

Any day of the week I would take Keyshawn back. He is a physical receiver that would garner attention that would be diverted from Coles and Cotch. JMac would obviously be the odd man out, but that's life.

I am not opposed to keeping the WR corps the way they are now though. Either way, I am satisfied.

BTW: The 'Boys released Keyshawn for monetary reasons. He has already said that he would willingly come back to the Cowboys, even if he got another offer, if the team was willing to match.

how long of a football fan have you been?

he is soooooooooooo f--in slow , always has been.

in the 98' season opening day he got caught from behind from a f-- LB.

he should of scored he was wide open down the sideline.

Yeah agree Keyshawn is not running on all cylinders anymore. I still think he can be a good pick up foe someone the guy is a big traget who has good hands..I just don't think I would take him and slow the progress of Cothery into maybe the 2 slot..

I'd love to get Keyshawn back, I was pissed when we traded him. I still wear my #19 to the games. People make too big a deal out of the couple problems he's had in his career and his good points are always overlooked. I'd take him over J-Mac in a second, who do we have at WR that's any better than Keyshawn?

Maybe if he came back we could score some TDs in the red zone instead of all FGs this year.
