San Diego don't want him to go , thats why they're asking silly money for him , 1st and 3rd. Turner will be a charger come the start of next season.
You just named four guys that the Jets would have to weaken the current team to acquire...and did you really mention Ricky Williams?!?! Bears are not trading Cedric, current ask on Thomas Jones is a #1 pick Turner is at least a #1 pick Betts? who knows, but if Barlow is he benchmark, Betts would have to be a at least a #2 I am not saying the Jets should have signed Henry, but he sort of made the most sense in terms of high quality FA if the FO though RB was a priority.
# 20 Travis Henry Position: RB Height: 5-9 Weight: 215 Born: 10/29/1978 College: Tennessee NFL Experience: 7 or # 29 Leon Washington Position: RB Height: 5-8 Weight: 202 Born: 08/29/1982 College: Florida State NFL Experience: 2
The Jets haven't missed out on anything, we have ample cap room, all the season ticket holders have allready been billed, and the TV money is split evenly regardless of whether we win or lose. We don't need to do anything this year, we just need to have the look of a team that can compete when the PSL bill goes out to the season ticket holders.
Thank God! I cant stand this piece of dong. How old is he, and why do 15 year olds appeal to him? Fucking perv.
what was wrong wiht travis henry??!? how come every FA player is bad according to people on this blog...take a look at travis henry's stats last year and then take a look at tennessee's offensive line..henry had about 1200 yards and the tennessee line sucked. hes not bad, he's a good quick runner. i agree w/ the title of this thread, the jets did miss out
Am I the only one who realizes that Henry flew directly from Tennessee to Denver? Denver had the first opportunity and got the guy they wanted. The Jets did not want Henry that badly. Be patient and let them build a contender. Youth
whether they wanted him or not i'm simply arguing the fact that he IS a good player and that he WOULD do well on the jets. but that doesnt matter now so w/e
