Giants | Torbor tendered Thu, 1 Mar 2007 21:41:02 -0800 The Associated Press reports the New York Giants restricted free agent LB Reggie Torbor has received a fourth-round tender. The Giants would receive a fourth-round draft pick as compensation if he is signed by another team. IMO...Reggie Torbor for a 4th round pick is a steal... This guy is a natural pass rusher.
I've loved Reggie Torbor since he was drafted, but I don't know if he worth a 4th round pick, especially when you can potentially sign a proven guy like Joey Porter without giving up draft picks. I'd prefer Torbor based on age and money, but 4th seems a bit high. Edit: On a second look, Porter turns 30 in 20 days, so he is younger than I thought. I'd probably take Porter at this point. Edit #2: On a third look, I see that Torbor has converted to DE. Why not get him? Just get rid of Oelhoffen, dear God.
You better get someone that ends up being really good for our 4th round pick. Here's who we have drafted in the 4th round the last 3 years 2004 Jerricho Cotchery Adrian Jones 2005 Kerry Rhodes 2006 Brad Smith Leon Washington
Ahahaha. So there. We could agree to send a third, thirds ain't been worth sh!t around here for a while now.
I forgot about the stupid f**king Kevan Barlow trade. Oh well. I was iffy on the 4th-round pick. No way would I give up a 3rd for him.
Actually in college, he played DE & has been convertef to LB since coming to the pros. I saw him play on tv, while he was at Auburn. He's a good pass rusher.
