I would love nothing more than the Jets to cut Kimo. He was trash, slow, and completely ineffective. I read some articles saying he may have to be kept as a backup because of his salary, but cutting him would be a great move...Get him out of here.

I somewhat agree (although Ramsey was needed if Chad faltered), but I am encouraged that they don't let them hang around to prove a point. All GMs make mistakes, the successful ones know when to admit it and cut their losses....

Do we have a third QB or are we drafting one?

Last I heard they were still trying to get him to restructure his deal and try to keep him. If they cut him, I would consider him as a vet insurance policy in case Chad/Kellen go down. He may not be ready for that role mentally though...

Yes I agree then the Kiper Meachem pick looks more plausable since we would have a QB that can reach him

He hasn't exactly done much to raise his stock this season. IF he gets traded, which seems doubtful, I'd see nothing more then a 6th.

If we trade Ramsey he has to be replaced so where is the savings unless we know we can sign an experienced back up for less than 1.4 million.

also, Isnt his contract inculded in the trade? I dont think its crazy for teams to be interested in him enough to get a late rd pick. Im really not holding my breath though.

How about David Barrett? Solid contributor, I know he has a very high salary according to our TGG salary page.

I think that we could get a 6th from Cincinnati for Ramsey though.

I don't think anybody will trade for Ramsey. We don't exactly have a line up at our door for the guy. I think this last year actually hurt his value because if you look at what little tape there was, there wasn't anything that he did where you would get excited about.

Ramsey will be released and somebody will pick him up. He is not worth his current salary.

I remember somebody by the name of "Cowboy Up" coming on here when we signed Ramsey saying how good he was and how he was going to do great things.

I remember my first response was, "Cowboy Up" yours.

I didn't know it at the time, but I was right on the the money.

Yes, I think Ramsey would be Al Davis' prototype QB, actually.

Every team is looking for that "solid" backup for their organization. Maybe Ramsey will be the next Garcia/Huard for some team? :)

That would be my sells bit..
