Don't you think the Titans will draft him to play for Norm Chow again?

And with the 2nd pick in the NFL Draft the New York Jets select ... Matt Leinart of the University of Southern California Trojans.

I like the ring of that.

yeah, me too, but the only way they'll get him is with a trade to get ahead of tennessee IMO. Wonder what it'll take to jump up 2 spots?

I think you're right. We cannot sit and wait if we want Leinart. There is no way the Titans pick Young (or Cutler) ahead of Leinart.

The more of these moves I see, the more I think we will be trading down.

huh? They aren't that bad, he has good WRs and a good RB when healthy, they are just very inconsistant especially with Brooks at the helm so he may turn it around, with a stable home again

brees gets a six year deal from the saints, there is no way they are drafting a qb now!

When you think about it, the Saints have only two natural trade partners [If you believe they covet Mario Williams as much as various media reports would suggest]. And those two partners would be us and the Titans. After these two teams the only trade-down partner in bigger need of a QB is the Raiders at 7. Williams will be long gone by that pick however. I know I'm probably just stating the obvious, as I no doubt realize most of you already knew this. We have an excellent shot at trading up for Leinart. This should be cause for celebration.

The thing that bothers me is N.O. had its pick of any QB in the draft, and they decided to go with a free agent coming off a shoulder injury. They can't be high on picking any of those QBs with No. 2 overall. I hope we pick Mario Williams or trade down, then get a QB like Brodie Croyle in the second round.

Bingo. You might not even have to trade up. I mean the Saints aren't going to select a QB now, so Matt or Vince will fall.

But some one else can swoop into the 2nd and take a QB, but who? Fins? Not anymore. Jets? They could just sit and still prolly get him. Who else?

All the teams that need a QB are actually very high and might just want to sit back and bet he'll fall.

Wouldn't it be nice to move up and draft Leinart ahead of Chow and the Titans.......kind of stick it to Chow for leaving us at the altar.

We should make an offer for the second pick before someone else jumps on it. If were going to take a QB, move up and get the best one.
