If I had my choice, it'd probably be in this order: 1. Steinbach 2. Grant 3. Clements 4. Thomas 5. Samuel
The Pats are supposedly going to put the Franchise Tag on Daniel Graham...so Samuel should be available. He's just gonna want ALOT of money.
I would take Samuel over Clement (because he knows the system and would probably cost slightly less). I'd also love to get Graham.
Did not know Charles Grant was a FA, but he's got nice size and strength for the 3-4. Don't know if he'd want to lose the money being a 4-3 end makes you though. Steinbach is the guy I really want. Sean Locklear is a very intriguing FA at G, and should come cheaper than Steinbach. Dockery is also there because of his massive size and youth. Stacey Andrews is another guy who we could be looking at, though I haven't seen enough of him and I heard the Bengals wanted him to become a DT. This is a nice year to be looking for a G in FA. BTW: That list is borderline retarded. Garcia the top FA? Damon Huard? Amazing what one half decent season (or 5-6 games) can do for a guy. These are guys you could have paid in Legos like 8 months ago.
Kenyon Coleman could be a good fit for 3-4 DE. He was on the Dallas DL the last four years under Parcells, and while he didn't start, played very well in the time he received. Most Cowboys fans say he was better than Spears and Canty this year. I think he's worth a look, could be a good addition to the rotation.
Oh, did not notice Coleman. Good call 10Pennington. I would absolutely love the Jets to jump on this guy.
In order, I would prefer one of these guys: Eric Steinbach Charles Grant Patrick Kerney Please, no aging RB!!! And we don't need to spend big bucks on a LB, that's one of the easiest positions to draft. And we are more than OK at CB with Dyson, Barrett, Miller, and Coleman.
YES, GOOD CALL !!! Holland is a beast, and he would do more to help our running game than any aging vet runner...
