There is, in my opinion, just as much, if not more passion involved in high school football than at any other level. 99% of my greatest and most favorite memories are from the years I played high school football. I've never been as passionate about anything in my life, and I assume it'll take something extraordinary in the future to even compare to it.... If you're a fan of tough, gritty, balls to the wall football, you like high school football...
we can look at the bright side...after the pounding Coles took this year, at least we know hes in good enough condition to play in the Pro Bowl...if we was the least bit hurt, chances are he wouldnt even have considered going
So he must have found out 4.30 yesterday? Not just 1 hour 30 before the game as the article makes out. Or he will find out at 4.30pm today, and Karen doesn't want to tell him just yet
It is practically touch football, if he gets hurt doing this, he would get hurt then eventually at home than anyway
I'm not doubting the passion at all, the goal is to play great and hopefully get a scholarship at a big program...It's taken serious, that's great. I just don't like the triple option or wish-bone just dominate a defense and not much down-field passing. Their are few offenses who do pass the ball more often, but most of it is behind a stud RB.
j.p. stevens(North edison, NJ) throws way more than they run, 80% of the time they pass, there QB averages 40 attempts a game, except, he can't throw, we pick him off every game
I wouldn't put it past Bellichick to have been the one to wait before saying this morning, "We'll need another WR...oh, it's a Jets' player? I really did not know that"
AGAIN. I did say some offenses to pass more often, my Alma Mater who just won State was a passing offense and the QB signed with Miami. It happens, their are offenses who like to pass, that's great. But a majority of a teams offense is with the RB.
F the pro bowl anyway, it ain't nothing but a popularity contest!! Once you get elected once or twice you're in every year! As evidenced by John Lynch getting in with his 0 ints and Kerry Rhodes who was the BEST safety in the AFC this year getting snubbed!!!!
